Before he could get off his seat, Silas arrived with the Inspector General (IGP) of Police, Bar. Fuller and the EFCC Head. Although, Evans was unaware of the purpose of the visit because he was familiar with the EFCC Head and Bar. Fuller, he greeted them warmly and the IGP, who recognized him as the accused, gave him a warm handshake and complimented, “Good morning, Mr. Owens. I have heard so much about you.”
After the handshake, Mr. Owens inquired with a smile. “Really? I hope that what you heard about me is good?”
They laughed softly and the IGP confirmed, “Certainly. If not, I wouldn't mention it.”
“It's okay. That was in a lighter mood. Thank you for the compliment. It is my pleasure meeting you.”
"You are welcomed."
Then, James declared, “I will inform the GMD of your presence, right away.”
