“Baam!” A strong hit fell on the desk, prompting Peter to back away slightly, not wanting to be a part of the rage that his employer was currently experiencing.
“How dare she?” he screamed angrily as he tossed the device away.
‘Arnold is unaware, but has she forgotten that she is my lover? Is she attempting to irritate me, or is she trying to gain a title by clinging to him? What the hell is she doing?’
The more he thought about Avita’s behavior, the more enraged he became. It was at this point that he really realized how little he knew about her.
And it was a pretty suffocating sensation.
Peter decided to keep working because Miguel’s rage was not going away anytime soon. After all, it was preferable for Miguel to become enraged all at once, rather than in spurts.
Stepping forward again, Peter cleared his throat, attracting Miguel’s attention, who gave him a lethal glance, “what is it again?”
