The second Avita vanished without a trace, Miguel realized she was not as naïve as he imagined after she turned into a ghost overnight.
She, on the other hand, was not the type to cause him harm. He was certain of it; otherwise, she would have revealed their relationship to his family, and he would be unable to stop it.
Another plausible interpretation of this hypothetical narrative was that Avita was threatened by some forces, which explains why she fled without a trace.
And now that she was there in front of him with someone, she must have made some type of agreement, and this could be the last time he sees her.
Regardless of whether his thoughts were reasonable or not, he still wanted to see her and, at the very least, hear from her why they were in this position.
He stood there waiting for her to arrive, which she did after a few minutes of walking.
