TWO HOURS LATER
She was conflicted as she looked at the familiar villa she hadn’t seen in ages.
‘I wonder whether he did it all for his lovers as well!’
She remembered her first visit to this location, and she was rather taken aback. It wasn’t the price of the villa or the wealth that filled it, but Miguel’s boldness to hang her portrait on the wall.
Seeing her face in this setting astounded her so much that if she had been naive, she would have fallen for the man and adored him as a god. Fortunately, she was aware of this.
He was out to get her from the start, and she was there in the open to be led to the trap.
And if she hadn’t been a part of such a great organization, she would have given her everything to him and imagined she was the only one.
But, unfortunately for him, she was a hunter rather than a prey.
