Chapter 24 - 24 The Honeymoon

At that time, her husband collected the phone from her and interrogated John further, “John. It is me. Phil. What kind of car did he drive?”

“He did not leave with any car. He parked my boss' car, picked up his belongings and left.”

“Okay. Thank you, John. Bye.”

At that instance, the lunch was over, and the guests were gone. Olivia's parents, siblings, cousins, and nieces had returned to their hotel, hoping to return to Sevenoaks the next day. Phil had to take over the search for Louis from his wife, who was distressed already.

“Baby, you have to be strong because of Mom and Dad. You know they had lost people close to their hearts in the past. Don't bring this until we get to the Native Home. Okay?”

“Okay dear.”

“Father, we should be on our way,” Julie declared.

“It is all right.”

Responded Arthur, who had sat with Nichole in the registry and at the treat. He was happy in his propinquity and wished that it should continue was carefully searching for Nichole. When he could not find her, he instructed.

“Call your mother for me, Julie.”

“Okay, father.”

Julie walked back to the restaurant and met her carrying Daniel, who had fallen asleep and informed, “Mom, father sent for you.”

“Oh, Julie, tell him we will meet at home. I need to take Daniel to the car,” she tactfully dismissed her.

“All right Mom.”

Then, Julie walked back to the spot where her father parked his car and delivered the message. Arthur, who was too smart to be fooled, could read the handwriting on the wall. He accepted, but had his plans.

“That's OK. Get into the car.”

She got into the car and her father turned on his ignition while studying the environment. Now, Freya was already in her husband's car and ready to move. Nichole had laid the sleeping Daniel on the back seat, fastened his seatbelt and ready to move too. Instantly, Arthur drove to her car with Julie and ordered to the hearing of everyone, including Nichole.

“Julie, get down and help your Mom drive Daniel home. She had overworked herself today. I will drive her home.”

At that juncture, Nichole had no excuse. She could not afford to disobey him in the presence of their two daughters and in-law. So, she quietly got off her car with a compulsory smile, got into his car and the family left the restaurant in a mini convoy of three cars.

At The Island.

Olivia cried to her satisfaction and got tired of crying. She looked at her husband who was lying motionlessly on the bed and wondered why he was not talking to her. The petrified Olivia rushed to the bed and discovered that her husband was tearing up in silence. He remained in his motionless position even after she joined him, without looking at her. Now, Olivia had gotten a full plate, and had to clear it.

'How can I make my husband cry on our first night?' She thought. Then, she attempted to kiss her, but he sat up and attempted to leave when she held him and pleaded, “Hubby, I'm sorry I made you cry on our first night.”

Nevertheless, Denise melted at the sound of her plea and loved her the more. He understood that she had been through a lot of emotional stress and needed to ease off her pains. Then, he got down to business. He sat back on the bed and demanded while maintaining an eye contact.

“Angel.”

“Yes, hubby.”

“Promise me that this is the last time you will cry over your past.”

She simmered down and rested her head on his shoulder and promised, “I promised hubby.”

Now, Denise was on cloud nine as he looked at the beautiful woman in front of him. He gave her a peck on her temple before her cheek, then her lips. Thereafter, he drew her closer, and they laid down on the bed while Olivia held him tight as they kissed. Then, he slipped his hand into her white camisole top, and then her breast. He caressed it for a second and stopped suddenly. Then, she looked at her, and when their eyes met. He whispered, “Do you like it.”

“Yes. I will like anything you do to me.”

Now, Denise was encouraged, and he reminded her of his promise a few days back.

“I promised to make our first night an extraordinary one. And I mean it.”

Olivia moaned in satisfaction as Denise lived up to his words. He was sweating lavishly after he ejaculated for the first time in his life.

“I love you so much, my Angel,” he professed thereafter.

Then shyly replied, “I love you too, hubby.”

The confession and assurance opened the way for several loves making that night, and it became a cord which could not be broken that bound their eternal love that no one could disintegrate.

On the Road to The Bailey Native Home.

Mr. Anderson, who was driving his distressed wife, and Julie, who had no idea of his sibling's whereabouts was behind while Mr. Bailey who suddenly remembered that Mrs. Nichole was a woman to love was behind the two cars. The journey back became uneasily too long for Nichole. She was openly uncomfortable and Arthur, who was deeply happy with his achievement of driving her home on the wedding day of their son, noticed it and ignored her. She expected that she would have to explain why she did not respond to his message, but to her chagrin, he did not ask and that embittered her the more. Another hurdle for Mr. Bailey to cross was where to take her to – his apartment or her apartment. They drove silently while he thought of what to do until they got home. He was confused when Phil headed towards the direction of his apartment instead of Nichole's Apartment. He followed them and parked too when they parked. Now, Nichole was relieved, and she got off the car without appreciating the driver. She walked up to Julie to collect her car keys, but she noticed that Julie was having a gloomy countenance. Freya and her husband got off their car too with the same countenance. Then, she turned and looked at Arthur, who just got off his car, and their eyes met. He was aware that her look was not a mere look but had to do with the children, and looked at them one after the other. Julie got off her car and began to unfasten Daniel's seatbelt, while Phil and Freya walked towards the door. Meanwhile, Julie carried Daniel, who was still sleeping, into the house. Then, their parents followed them silently. Now, Julie took Daniel to her room and returned to the parlor to join others who were already seated. Now, Phil took the initiative to broach the subject.

“Father, mother, there is a problem.”

“What is the problem? Tell me,” the anxious Mr. Bailey asked in a rush.

“Louis is missing, and his phone is switched off,” Phil informed, and Nichole's eyes were wet instantly. Then, Arthur looked at them searchingly and demanded, “Was he not the person I saw at the registry today?”

“Yes, father. He came by and disappeared.”

Julie informed, while Freya added.
