Episode 1
As I walked home, various thoughts flew through my head. My feet felt too light to carry me and my heart was especially heavy. Whether from the betrayal of my best friend who stole my fiance or from the embarrassment I felt. Either ways, the universe just seemed to hate me.
On reaching my room, I resided to my bed and finally the tears began falling. I had held it in for too long.
My phone beeped, it was a call from Fred, my project partner.
"Hey Fred what's up" I asked trying to sound cheerful.
"Ella are you okay?" He asked
My lips quivered and more tears escaped my eyes. I just couldn't bring myself to answer that question.
"You didn't show up at the lab today so I called to check on you" he continued
"I'm good" I answered before hanging up
That night I could only cry myself to sleep. In the middle of the night, I felt my body shiver furiously. I tried to get up but I couldn't. It almost felt like I was going through a seizure.
My breath was drawn out of my nose and my whole body began to sink. I was hearing voices but couldn't get what was being said.
"You have to fix this" was the only thing I heard clearly before jerking up and gasping for breath.
It was just a nightmare, I consoled myself. Finally getting a grip of my breath, I surveyed my room. Everything else was normal except...
Right on my bed, just beside me, someone was fast asleep. My whole body tensed up.
Who could that be? If I remember correctly then I didn't have roommates.
The person lying beside me slowly sat up. She turned to me but...
