"A school… field trip?" I repeated, slowly.
"A school field trip!" Cera repeated again, a bright smile on her face.
Now that I think about it, there were mentions of this in the school's newspaper. But to think… it would be coming so soon.
"We're gonna be traveling to a dungeon, right next to the capital of Venichian."
"V-venichian…"
Memories flooded back into my head, within seconds.
I've… really been in this world for so long. Struggling through hardship after hardship.
"You alright, Julian?" Ian asked, snapping his fingers in front of my face.
"Huh?" I responded, a little disoriented.
"Your expression just now was one of sadness."
"Ah, I'm fine. I just get lost in thought, quite a bit."

The majority of the school lined up at the docks.
"Students, students, please settle down! You kids will be put into groups that you will travel with throughout."
I just remembered. I did grab that newspaper, reading about the school's field trip. But wouldn't it be far more efficient for them to actually… mention it in class?
"Ah, Julian. It seems that we're in the same group?" Eudora tapped my shoulder.
I was lost in thought, so I didn't realize that they were already setting the groups.
Besides me and Eudora, there were 4 other people. 6 in total.
"Before we get onto the boat, I think we should all introduce each other, right?" one of them spoke. It was a girl, a part of the student council.
Of course, I knew her name. Ailza Denu. A demi-human, half human, half rabbit. Well, maybe not half rabbit, more human leaning.
Her hair was a dark orange, with a fine, silky texture. She had tan skin and dark brown eyes, with freckles painting her face. Her demeanor was one of seriousness and punctuality.
"My name is Beo Seafang." the boy next to her said.
He had blonde hair around my length, with stripes of white. Kind of like… An albino raccoon. His eyes were a dark blue. If I had to guess, with the gaze he had, he must've been troublesome.
"I'm Jurizah Dei." the girl next to the boy said.
She had black, short hair that fell to her ears that looked like it was cut by her. It wasn't necessarily a bad haircut, just unique. She had blue eyes, lighter than the pair next to her.
The final person spoke up. "The name's Shaw Nesk."
He was on the shorter side, with dark red hair that appeared recently buzzed, along with his hazel-ish eyes. He had a bandage right under his eye.
"I'm… Julian Thorne."
"And I'm Eudora!"
Aliza was the first to start banding us together.
"It's best for us all to get acquainted fast, as we'll be staying together for the remainder of this school field trip."
It makes sense as to why she was chosen for student council. Instantly attempting to get us all together.
We all began boarding the ships.
