This breeze. It's familiar.
The tall blades of grass moved with the wind.
There was one spot, devoid of tall grass. Under the single tree. It was slightly curved.
I'm tired.
I rested my head on the tree. The breeze is comfortable. Like a blanket, almost.
"Cerat."
She stood in front of me. Her lavender hair has surely gotten longer. Did it always reach to her feet?
Her light blue eyes were as welcoming as always. It's like she's inviting me to her world full of privacy.
I reached my hand out, to caress her cheek. Her skin is soft.
She smiled brightly at me.
"Alenia."
She sat down beside me.
"Dragons are supposed to live long, Cerat. You're here earlier than I expected."
"I'm more surprised I'm not in hell."
I leaned my head on the tree.
"Don't say something like that. Be happy that you get to see-"
I pulled her closer to me by the waist, kissing her. Her cheeks got hot and red, but she kissed me back.
But for some reason, something felt... strange.
"Cerat, you!-"
Kailu jumped at Cerat.
"First thing you do after dying is come at my sister!?" Kailu put me in a headlock. I could faintly hear Alenia giggling.
I can't believe I managed without this for so long.
