the sun had set for oakenburn city ,and darkness start to wrap it with its color.
The city, which used to be full of people and lights at night, is now dark and empty, except for its defenders.
who are spread throughout the city's small wall, holding their weapons tightly in their hands as they look forward towards the hill where their enemy is expected to come through.
and soon As expected, thousands of three-meter-tall green monsters wielding clubs, swords, and trees appeared in their field of view.
looking at the numbers of the orcs that is approaching more than forty-five thousand, the soldiers at the top of the wall couldn't help but clench their hands on their weapons unconsciously.
they instinctively felt fear of the monsters in front of them
They awoke from their trance when they heard William's voice echoing throughout the city.
"men, don't forget why we're here now, we're not here to die fighting those ugly monsters, we're here to kill them before they get any closer to us, we're going to destroy them while keeping ourselves safe so there's nothing to worry about, now it's your turn to play wind mages bring terror to those low life monsters" (william)

after that the soldiers behind the mages were forced to cover their eyes with their hands because of the great wind ,but even so some were able to see what happened.

As all the mages did this at the same time, the sky above the orcs' heads suddenly became full of rocks, resembling a small sized meteor shower, despite the fact that it only fell from a height of 10 metres.
the plain that was previously occupied by the orcs become a hell for them as the boulders were falling at them,while some boulders sometimes clash with each other amd break ,thier shardes will stop the orcs from dodge hasty as some shards may shot to the eye
However, their caution often costs them their lives as when they are distracted by the shards, real boulders will flatten them.
The first shot of the mages killed over ten thousand of them, but that didn't break the orcs' will, assuming they even had one to begin with.
When they felt the mages' shots had stopped, they dashed towards the city gate to destroy it.
However, the mages would not allow them to do so easly as they prepared to fire the second and third shots, despite the fact that there was a delay between each shot even if it was only 10 seconds.
Despite the mages' three shots, more than 25,000 orcs survived and forced their way through the city gate.
After the city's gate was destroyed, orcs began to spread throughout the city.
Such a scene should have terrified the soldiers, but their expressions were complicated rather than fearful.
When all the orcs had passed through the city gate, earth mages who had been waiting for a long time jumped from the city wall with ropes around their waists.

So the moment the fire in the arrow touched the oil, a chain reaction occurred, as the fire spread quickly from that point to the house next to it, then the next one, then... until almost all the houses in the city were on fire, killing a large number of orcs and injuring many more of them.
The orcs who could still fight realised they couldn't destroy the earth wall in a short period of time, so they fled to the other side of the city, where they saw another city gate.

the gate couldn't withstand the orcs' combined force for long, which was expected as they were destroying the gate from inside the city , if they were a little more smarter they won't even need to use all that time to destroyed.

The soldiers didn't care about them during this entire process, as they went into a passage leading to the outside of the city in the mayor Keith's castle, which was still standing without being set on fire.
As they were doing so, the orcs finally broke through the gate and stepped outside the city, while feeling relieved that they had survived the hell that lay behind them.
Their joy was short-lived, however, as they noticed a dark shadow approaching them.
When the shadow was a few metres away, they discovered that it was only a frail one-armed human.

leo put strength in his right leg,the spear in his hands forward then charged toward the orcs ,as his leg left the ground some small cracks spread in it while leo moved forward like a bull not carring about anything.
the spearhead directly stabbed the hearts of three of the orcs who were standing in one line before they realised what leo had done
but leo's charge effect didn't stop at that as all the 20+ orcs that we surrounding him were sent flying in the sky from the power of his charge
After retrieving his spear from the bodies of the three orcs, he swung it again, killing the orcs who approached him, killing and killing and killing until a small mountain of orcs corpses surrounded him, only then did Leo hear the sound of the soilders behind him.

'If the earth mages hadn't run out of mana, I would have told them to build a wall that would keep the orcs from coming outside the city, but that would put them at risk of fleeing through the other gate or from some wall, as even though the earth wall is strong, it could only hold for less than a few minutes if the orcs put all their strength into destroying it,' leo though as he said

After hearing their response, Leo rose to the top of the orc's corpse hill and looked around the battlefield. If he saw someone in danger, he would rush to their aid, though this was rare.
Then, in no time , an hour had passed, and the battle had ended with the defenders of Oakenburn victorious.
