My body stirred on the bed.
What was this voice? It wasn't the familiar sound of my alarm. It wasn't the electronic sound that I set up as the my smartphone's default.
It was a woman's voice that sounded somewhat familiar.
It mom's voice calling me from the living room.
I rubbed my eyes while sitting up.
I got down the stair still wearing some new clothes then i entered the living room. Mom was preparing breakfast in the kitchen. Dad was sitting on the sofa watching news in the on the TV.
The two of them should be around 50, but they looked youthful because of the gene enhancement potion that was distributed to all the people around the world above the age of 16 as it has anti-aging effect until more than 75% or 80% of lifespan was gone then aging would start again.
For example if someone had 100 year of life span he would have a young body until 75 or 80 years old only then would his body start grow old .
Dad who saw me coming stood up while smiling as he took me in a big hug
Mom stiffened the moment she saw that, Tears were immediately pooling up in her eyes.
"Wait...what's wrong? Mom…"(leo!!)
Mom grabbed my arm then She suddenly hugged me.
with all her strength.
Mom when did your arm got this strong,someone help me can't breath,helpppppp. Remembering that dad was here ,I swang my hand in the air trying to ask him for help.
But he only gived me a smile the looked away
I made a slightly hurt look as looked at him as if I was disappointed by that, but not for long as my Mother was shaking my body back and forth so I forgot about that.
"mother, you will kill me like that"
"ah sorry I was a little bit emotional"
' that is just a little bit, then what would have happened if it wasn't a little you will kill me for real' I thought funnily as I held my back with my right hand.
Then after washing up as my mother told me I went to the living room and found a table full of food, most of which were meals that I enjoyed.
I moved to the table with a smile on my face, and as I was about to grab a slice.
my mother came over and slapped my palm playfully, saying, "Wait until everything is on the table"
as I was looking around I heard my father's high voice, "Son!"
I said with an even high voice tone as I knew what he is doing now, "Father!"
Then I walked to him, few steps before I reached him, a punch came to my face, which I easily caught , he then leaned his body back a little, swang his leg in an attempt to make me fall by kicking my leg.i on the other hand, responded by jump a little bit, then as my leg contacted with the ground again, I punched him in the stomach, causing him to fall.
As We were about to fight again.
We heard mom's voice from behind us, "Wouldn't you stop fighting or would you like me to stop you?"
"No, no, you don't need to, we will stop right away , right son?"
"Right Father"
Then a after a little laugh at ourselves then helped each other to stand.
After that went to the table.
A few minutes later the sound of laugher sounded from the living room as we had long conversations about the past,family and my days in the acdemy .
And as they say fun time passes very fast when you are happy.
the last half of the month in the vocation quickly passed and the time for the march has come.
"Take care of yourself son"
"Leo be sure to eat dress closer and remember to always call me and take care of yourself..."
" honey stop there if we let you speak we would need a whole week before we can send him."
"dad, mom I wish you happy days to come and i hope the day we would mee againt will come soon" I said, while hugging them both
then I move to the taxi door.
Before closing the door i swing my arm one final time at them,

When a students in the gene awkening academy is assigned a mission,that implies that they have became graduated .
This mission marks their last days as student and the beginning of their journey as soldier.
Giving them the name of soldier does not mean that they are working for a certain country, but rather for themselves and the entire world as whole.
This is a military organization that lacks a supreme commander, that is because it was founded by the gathering forces of the whole world so it can't be given a supreme leader, as that while show favority bais toward a certain country .
Even if the world is facing world crisis disaster,politicians doesn't want to show weaknesses.
If you insist about a supreme leader then that would be the quest.
As long as a quest appeard soldier would move to clear ,It's a little bit similar to guilds in anime and novels, but without the guild master himself.
Soliders are assigned objectives to complete, and they can refuse if they don't want to unless it's an emergency.
The supreme leader does not exist, but as long as there is a system, there will be ranks.
Ranks are earn throught military merits.
Those who are holding those ranks such as commanders, can issue simple commands such as gathering troops, and other simple orders that do not go against the human right.
Under normal cristmances,they are not allowed to kill soldiers,even if they did something deserving death, as those punishments are the the responsibility of the military court, not them.
Gene Awakening Academy The Main Piazza.
The main Piazza of the gene awakening academy is filled today to the brim with students.
These students here are those who were accepted for the march of the gobline world.
"a lot were selected this time,right rachid"(leo)
" thats not our problem, leo "(rachid)
"I know,I just said my thoughts out loud "(leo)
"you should talk in a low voice leo the teachers are in their way here"
Rachid said as he pointed his finger to the end part of the north,where I could see several teachers walking together toward us.
"Hello,my dear, students and future warriors, as you are already aware, we had conducted a selection last month and a 1000 of you were chosen, who we believe will be able to complete this mission."
Hamid A middle-aged math teacher spoke as he approached the students.
"When you reach that place, you will get everything you might need to complete the mission. It is estimated that this mission will take at least 6 months to be complete so please be mentally prepared."
'6 months is longer than I expected. I thought we would take only about four months,' I thought as I heard the Mr.hamid's voice.
After Mr.hamid talk with us several other teachers try their best to give us every bit of information, that they believed we would need to complete this mission as this talk lasted more than an hour.
By then those teachers were sweating bullets from how much they spoke.
they were very passionate about thier job.
At the end Mr.hamid once again came up to speak.
"Student i would like you to remember one thing don't try to become heroes, even if it is cool and all most herose life doesn't have a good ending,heroes with happy ending are but mere fictions, so Please, if you have a chance to survive, hold it very tightly, even if it means running or crawling on the ground to save yourself. Please,take care of your lives."

"Ah, I heard that MR.hamid who spoke the most today, had a tragic past in which all of his team mates died while saving him; he may have felt guilty for staying alive alone and doesn't want us to feel the same."(leo)
"people of this type thought is rare, most people would feel happy that they were saved even if someone died while saving them.."(rachid)
"In the end we can say,that even if saving people is a good thing,and we did it with good intentions, saving people does not always imply that people whose life is sabed will be truly saved, at least not Mentally" (Leo).
"shut up leo don't talk about deep think when you don't even understand them"(rachid) said as he laugh while running away in fear as I shot him with my shoe beside his head, even the small gust of wind that followed the shoe touched his cheeks's skin.
"what did you said ,just wait there and I will show you how the word 'understand' is wrote, wait why are you running,don't be afraid I won't do anything ,come closer, yes just like that closer"(leo)
"leo why are you still holding your other shoe with your hand"(rachid)
"tsk,you found it before coming closer, but since you saw it from there I can only try and belive in my throwing skill" as leo said that he held the last shoein his hand than send it in the direction where rachid who had already realized what would happen next.
This time although it didn't hit him in the head ,it hit him in his right leg.
"leo, you bastard what are you doing wh-what are you doing wa-wait…." Rachid cursed at leo in a loud voice, but as he did so he saw leo taking the first shoe he threw at him again rhen run at him.
Since then rachid could only plead mercy from leo who didn't accept his plead as he seems to enjoy this event,but that was not only leo but other classmates of him helped leo or work against him until it became from a battle between two to a war between the whole class,so rachid could only gather his courage and fight against the class or he would have a one sided beating that he wasn't satisfied with.
"you left me not choice other than this leo prepare for a beating"(rachid)

As the teacher aside saw this they didn't do anything as they though 'let them,that's good to relive the stress they are facing'
After a long-short shoe war leo said to his stupid class who are laughing at each other because of the shoe mark in their faces with the except of few
"pfft…lets go…guys….hahaha I can't hahaha " as leo said that he couldn't help but roll over the beach sand as he couldn't stop laughing at their faces.
But that was a stupid thing to do as all his other classmates that have marks in their faces, had their faces clouded by darkness.
They at the same time as if they had planed before throw their shoes at him while he wasn't looking at them.
Leo who was laughing realised that something was wrong so he didn't even bother losing time in standing up to run, instead he roll in the sand while protecting his face from the shoes that were flying at him.
He swear he could hear several of them saying "tsk"
After ending this funny episode we moved to the adge of the island .
as arrived there.
hundreds of helicopters were waiting there for us.

The helicopters took us on a one-hour trip.
when we got out, we met another long line of cars that took us on another 12-hour journey.
Our Destination was a castle 30 meters tall and 2 kilometers wide, that would become our base of operation in the future.
As the large gate in the shape of an ancient castle opened, the automobile began to drive in.
As we looked from the windows of the cars, we saw various buildings that would become our homes for the next six months or maybe a full year.
As we got out of the cars some soldiers that were there before us, handed us a new military ID card, a new black military clothing, and a key to our new homes.
They gave each soldier a house to live in alone, with fighting and training equipment.
Some entertainment as well like as a computer and television.
As I looked at all that ,I couldn't help but feel satisfied.

We were given a week of time to acclimate to life in the stronghold.
After that week we were asked to move except class Z which was assigned a different duty,as we had because we had more experience than the average EX-Student because of our 3 years of study unlike them who studied for less than a year.
We were given the job of assisting or advising other students if they encountered any kind problem.
guiding them was not difficult as we simply went to the shallow water of the gobline front, where goblins were only ordinary once, not the strong and evolved variety.
