Half an hour later, in the plane.
Alexander was lying contentedly in his private cabin, gazing out at the sky.
Laura nestled beside him, kissing his cheek. "Darling, don't you think you were a bit too hard on Robert? His body shudders at the mention of your name."
Alexander rested his head on Laura's thigh and smiled, "Was I too hard on him? I've always treated him as a friend."
Laura chided him with a laugh, "You're lying to me, aren't you?"
Alexander shrugged and smiled, "Well, I suppose it's a kind of strategy. If I'm not tough on Robert, and he keeps thinking about getting revenge on me, wouldn't I be annoyed to death?"
Laura nodded and said, "Robert's temper used to be quite arrogant, but with your lesson, I think he's realized his mistakes. He should be more restrained in the future."
Alexander caressed Laura's chest and said, "Hmm, I might have been a bit excessive before. If there's a chance, I'll make it up to him."
