Myrtle and Rose sat around a table in a small cottage, at the back of the main house. Rose was staring into her own crystal bowl.
"I can't see much now, but I strongly get the feeling that this blonde stalker lady is a werewolf. There were some hidden powers that surrounded her as she stared at us. She gives off the vibes of someone that can change shape," Rose remarked in a slow tone as she continued to look into the images in the ball.
"Are you sure? She's an animal?" Myrtle asked with her eyes almost popping out.
"I sense that very strongly. Ah, there she is now," Rose responded.
"Do you see her?" Myrtle asked, holding her breath.
"Yes, I'm sure it's her. I'm getting the same vibes which were exuding from her. She seems angry, but she's talking to someone else," Rose continued.
"Who's she talking to?" Myrtle asked eagerly. It was Rose's turn to look into the crystal bowl, so Myrtle was not going to interfere. She had to trust what Rose told her.
"They're having a hectic conversation," Rose murmured.
"Keep looking till you see the other person," Myrtle urged her in a patient tone of voice, even though she was about to burst from curiosity.
"It seems to be a woman. Yes, there she is now. A furious woman who seems to be giving orders," Rose remarked.
"A boss? The blonde's employer or her leader, perhaps?" Myrtle asked, shifting forwards in her chair with eagerness.
"Someone with a big influence on her, alright," Rose commented without removing her eyes from the ball for a second.
"So, then it's this person who told her to follow us," Myrtle remarked with a deep frown between her brows. "But, what does she want from two elderly ladies?" she asked, shaking her head in confusion.
"Can she be someone from the past? Or maybe she's working for someone from the past?" Rose asked as she continued to look into the crystal ball.
"It could be because we're not very busy lately. There's no reason for anyone to feel jealous about our work," Myrtle responded with a shrug.
"This woman seems to dominating the blonde. A bully or a very strict employer. The blonde seems to be very eager to please her.
They're both upset about something, it seems," Rose remarked.
"Can you see her more clearly? You might have met her once?" Myrtle asked.
"I'm trying to focus on her face, but she's making so many wild gestures with her hands, that it's hard to focus on her face," Rose responded in a sing-song tone of voice. She often adopted this tone when she was busy studying something, whether it was someone's future or a recipe on television.
"Keep looking so that we can have them both followed and investigated," Myrtle urged her on impatiently.
"Oh there's her face. No, I don't think that I've seen her before.
Oh and there's a man now," Rose remarked with an excited look in her eyes.
"Is he perhaps the reason for the meeting between the ladies? Do they both want him?" Myrtle asked with a frown between her brows. Her breath was coming in short gasps from her excitement.
"He's handsome. I think they're all werewolves. I can sense that they can change into wolves. They have a super-strong, wild look in their eyes," Rose remarked, nodding her head in certainty.
"You mean they could overpower us?" Myrtle asked with her eyes narrowed in contemplation.
"In physical fights, yes. Not in spiritual ones," Rose responded as she continued to watch with a fascinated look in her eyes.
"What can they be following us for, then? We don't have problems with wolves?" Myrtle asked with a concerned frown between her brows.
"Maybe some of our departed friends did once, long ago and now these want revenge through us. Maybe these folks have been searching for us for a long time. Remember back when some of our partners hunted down werewolves?" Rose asked without looking away from the ball.
"That's very long ago and there's evidence that we weren't involved in killing wolves," Myrtle responded with a grunt. She shifted back on her chair and stared at the opposite corner of the room, thoughtfully.
"It will be bad if they started following us so that they can harm us," Rose remarked.
"I think that there will be quite a few werewolves at the party on Saturday because these parties are never without them," she continued.
"Then, maybe this blonde girl heard that we were involved in that party and maybe she also knows how we look, that's why she apparently followed us?" Myrtle suggested, raising her brows.
"Don't you think that she would have come over to talk to us then instead of staring at us so boldly?" Rose asked. "No, she seems to be after something specific and she feels that we have it with us," Rose added. Her eyes looked grim at this point.
"Then we should be on the lookout for all three of them wherever we go. We should plan on how to outwit them if they try to attack us in any way," Myrtle responded with her lips in a thin line.
"Yes, study them as well in your crystal ball and we will both know who to look out for at the ball," Rose responded as she held her head to the side, still not taking her eyes off her crystal ball.
"We can tell someone else about this, so that they can look out for these three at the ball and then eavesdrop on their conversations. We should also find out where these wolves live," Myrtle remarked with a sharp tone in her voice.
"They might both be interested in this guy, but then they seem to be friends as well, these two ladies," Myrtle remarked. "He is not a friend of theirs though. He seems to be very angry with them. They're definitely his enemies," Rose remarked as she studied the crystal ball.
"Then we can capitalise on it by bringing him over to our side, so that those she-wolves don't attack us in any way," Myrtle suggested.
"Him turn away from his own type to defend mere humans?" Rose asked, looking away from the ball and shaking her head at Myrtle in disagreement.
"You know that jealousy can easily turn friends into enemies. Imagine what it does to enemies, even if they're of the same kind?" she added with a far-off look in her eyes.
"So, you suggest that we get to know them individually and then pitch them up against each other?" Myrtle stated with an amused grin on her face.
"Yes. When do we start?" Rose responded with an eager look in her eyes.
