"New place,new job"
"Taking care of him isn't a lot"
"He seems broken and sad"
"For him I feel bad"
Jurin sat on the bed. She wore a sunflower pattern dress and her pump shoes. Her hair was not tied and not braided. Instead her wavy hair flowed down her back. She wore some cute carved flowers earrings which Minnie had given her. She didn't like the hoop earrings at all and preferred smaller earrings for her ears.
Suddenly the door opened and Minnie came inside with a device in one of her hands and a charger in her other.
"Here"she expanded her hand to give Jurin the mobile and Jurin saw the wrinkles her fingers had as she just came after washing the dishes.
"I don't need it"Jurin told her
"Take it. You are going to need it and beside you can call me if you feel lonely" Minnie insisted and Jurin had to take the electronic device from her.
"How do you use this?"she asked her making her astonished upon the question.
"You don't know how to use a phone?"
"I don't know how to use this one"she said and Minnie told her how to use the device and how to charge it.
"Thanks but is this your phone?"Jurin asked looking at the good condition of the mobile in her hand. It had a clear phonecase to protect it from any damage and also had a screen protector. It looked unused and brand new.
"No it's a new phone"Minnie told and Jurin was left astounded.
"Does Louis pay you?'she questioned him wanting to know where she gets the money to buy these things. A few days ago it was hair curler and today its a new phone.
"Oh someone gave it to me"Minnie said and Jurin noticed how her cheeks became pink.
"Whose the special someone?" Minnie didn't want to answer the question and was saved by the sound of the door swinging open. Fredrick came in the room and smiled when he saw Minnie. He then turned to Jurin
"The driver is waiting for you"
"Alright. Can you go and hand him that bag" She pointed to the bag which was next to the door. That bag didn't belong to her. Most of the things she was using were Minnie's possession and she often felt quite embarrassed. Minnie considered her a friend and didn't feel bad when she used her things wether big or small.
Fred picked her bag and went downstairs while Jurin and Minnie were left in the room.
"Goodbye"Minnie bid her farewell with a smile. She wasn't happy on Jurin's departure from the mansion but after all the struggles she had faced Minnie thought that maybe she would be able to have some rest at William's place.
"Bye"Jurin spoke and walked down the stairs which would lead her to the first floor of the mansion. The mansion had three total floors but the third floor and what it keeps was never discovered by her. She only knew that it was a part of the house.
She was in a hurry and was walking very fast as. Her eyes were on the steps of the stairs as a result of which she bumped into none other than Louis who sighed and said
"Please don't do this clumsy stuff over there"he left from there with some of his guards and Jurin went outside. She seated herself in the car and her bag was also at the back seat. The driver started the engine and she left the place. During the journey she thought of what she will see at William's mansion. His face wasn't terrifying and he didn't have a well built body like Louis. He did have power but was deprived of the power of his legs.
"How did he die though?. Did Leo die first or Walter?"she asked herself. The answer to this question was hidden.
------------------------------------------
The man stopped the car and outside the car window she saw a house. It wasn't as large as Louis's mansion but it seemed pretty from the outside. The exterior of the house was painted white and the roof was black. Because of sitting inside the car she couldn't spot other details and so to examine the glamour of the place she came outside. A man took her bag with him and took it outside. Maybe the house was not that large as a castle but she had to agree that the garden was as pretty as a picture. Different types of flowers danced here and there in the breeze as the sun's rays fell on them. In the middle of the garden there was a fountain which had water in it. Sometimes the chirping birds would get thirsty after singing songs for too long and would quench their thirst from the water in the fountain. The green bushes were cleanly cutted into perfect shapes and their was also a wooden bench under a tree. She didn't know why it was placed there and moved forward to the entrance of the house. The door was left open for her and she went inside. As beautiful it was from the outside the interior was also nothing less. It wasn't total royalty but some simple decorations which had a pinch of the modern look occupied the space. She was just looking around when Bryan came into her sight.
"Hello Sir"she instantly greeted him
"Hello uhmm. What's your name?"he asked her
"Jurin" She answered. She had now gotten used to this name while the name Julia was still in her mind as it once was a part of her.
"Ok Jurin. Come let me show you your room"Bryan moved to the side to let a man who was in a rush pass.
The two started to climb the stairs to reach the room which was going to be Jurin's. He opened the door and Jurin gasped when she saw the horrible sight inside. The pillows were torn and balls of cotton flowed out of them. The rods on which the curtains were hung were on the floor. A stained carpet covered the floor. The sheets of the bed had something red on them and there was a strange stench coming from the room.
Bryan shook his head being displeased and then closed the door.
"I asked the guys to clean this room but..."he letted out a sigh
"Do they ever listen?"His frustration was visible to Jurin but he hid it away and continued
"You see sir William's last caregiver brought a man in the house which was against the rules and so we had to finish them"he begin to walk again and Jurin followed him.
"So she didn't die from a car accident ?"Jurin questioned. She was sure that she heard William saying that his caregiver died due to a car accident.
"No,she died from a bus accident. That's what we told sir William. Also don't inform sir William about this" They reached the end of a hallway and the male spoke
"This is your room. You will be staying here and also..."he took out a piece of paper from his pocket
"There are some rules which you will have to obey during your stay here. Since you work for Louis we won't kill you but if you mess up anywhere then the result of your actions would be in the hands of your master Louis" Jurin nodded her head and took the paper from him.
She went in the room and closed the door.
"Rules!. Don't do this. Don't do that!"she stomped her foot on the ground in rage. Somehow Bryan's words pricked her making her angry all of a sudden.
"You had one chance Jurin. If Minnie hadn't taken the tray of cups that day that man would have been dead"she told herself as she fell on the bed. The room was simple and had a bathroom connected to it.
"Also what are his rules that I have got to obey?"she opened the folded white paper and read the rules written on it.
"Don't bring any unwelcomed guests in the house"
"Don't touch sir William's private stuff"
"Don't even utter the name Amara" Jurin raised her eyebrow thinking about who Amara could be.
"It's probably his dead girlfriend"She made her guess and continued to read the rules
"Don't leave the mansion without asking for permission" Jurin rolled her eyes as she read this. She was thinking of how she was going to memorize all of the rules and how she was going to keep every single rule in her mind all the time.
"Don't blah blah blah"
"You cannot Blah blah blah"
"Don't try to Bleh bleh bleh bleh"
"Don't dare to harm sir William" Upon reading this Jurin pursed her lips and muttered.
"I only want to harm Louis as he was the reason of my death but if we look at it from another perspective then if Walter didn't kidnap me that day would my ending be better or even worse?"
Her eyes travelled to the last line written on the page. There was no gaps between the capital alphabets as their was very little space to fit it in.
"Pleasedon'tfallinlovewithsirWilliamashewillnotbehavingthesamefeeling towardsyou" Jurin letted out a chuckle when she read this. Out of all the rules this one was the most stupid one she read but she knew one thing that this rule will not be broken by her.
She was laying on the bed when she noticed that her bag was there even before she came. Turns out that the man who was carrying her bag had seen the view of the first room and then came here to drop Jurin's stuff. There were two guest rooms and a storeroom at the upstairs while the rest of the rooms were constructed downstairs. She got up and zipped open the bag taking out all of the dresses and a pair of shoes from it. She assembled the stuff in the closet and then went to the bathroom. In the bathroom she thought that it was only her ears ringing but when she came back she saw a brown haired guy in the room.
"Uhm yes?"Jurin looked at him who was waiting for her to appear.
"Sir Bryan is calling you. Your job starts from today" The guard named Oliver told her. He was Bryan's favourite guard as he was the most obedient amongst the others. He did all of his master's work without any question. On the other hand the rest were quiet stubborn.
"Iam coming in a minute" Oliver left after hearing Jurin's sentence and Jurin also after some seconds exited the room after switching off the fan and lights.
"No experience and got a job. If only life was this easy"Oliver mumbled referring to Jurin as he led her to his sir William's room.
"From here you go"
And from there Jurin had to go inside to meet William but she felt nervous. She had to be careful as the breaking of rules was a danger for her. She took a deep breath and turned the doorknob and opened the door. Oliver who was behind her left when he saw that he had no work at that place.
