Astro says "You don't know the first thing about me."
Moon says "I don't know nothing. I only know your name. How would I? I am stuck with some all-powerful and all-knowing being just because I was desperate I am a wish on some crystal that didn't even grant my wish."
He continued, "And guess what granted my wish? Some demon that doesn't like me and wants my body. I gave in to my belief that power would solve my problems. He used it to harm the only person I care for and the only person who sees the good in me. Hikari is the only person I have known who has hope for me. Yet all I do is mess things up."
Astro looked at this broken child as he kept his firm grip on her collar. He was barely holding on with all his strength.
"I am not smart like that goddamn scientist. I am not strong like you or Aku no. I am not good at fighting like Eclipse. I have to use cheap tricks to win. I am not special like Hikari. I don't have her bleeding heart. I am a selfish jerk! So tell me what do I do next!" Moon said
He shouts "What do I do next?!"
Droplets begin to trinket down his eyes.
Moon mumbles "I should just let that demon have my body. I should give up. I am a bastard that his own mother doesn't want."
Astro thinks "A calming guiding hand isn't going to help him grow. I have only two months."
She says "So what? Are you going to give up?"
He says "Yes"
Moon slowly lets go of Astro but before he completely does.
Astro says "Everyone will die. Your mom, brother, the island, and your darling sister Hikari."
He forcefully pushes her to the ground.
"I don't... care," Moon said
She says "Don't lie. The thought of the sister you love dying while you could save her."
Moon says "I don't love her nor deserve to."
Astro says "I hate it. I hate living sometimes. Yet something about living makes me want to live. After spending, some time with you. I learned, not I got to see what it is like to see a human in person. Not the ones from the god realm. You don't seem like you're trying to be perfect."
She continues "You want to find what makes you special. What makes you different? You are not some storybook hero. You are an anomaly. I like seeing you move forward."
Moon's eyes begin to light up after Astro says "I am glad you are alive."
His tears stop and he says "You are the first to say that."
He says softly "Thank you."
Moon lends his hand to Astro who is sitting on the ground. She takes his hand and says "You are welcome."
Astro gets up with the help of Moon.
He goes back to where he was resting and lays back down to sleep.
Astro goes to the edge of the building and looks at the stars.
She says "They look so different from the books. So beautiful."
Astro thinks back to the past. She hears "Why did the almighty one make them? These sisters bring nothing but disaster. Hell, one of them has a demon mother. At least Astro was born from a god." from her head.
She says "It will be different this time. Moon will represent humanity and I will save this world. No matter the cost."
Meteora floats in the sky and says "Dear sister, I will win our game. Astro I will raise a better champion. I will never be compared to you again."
