Astro's feet touch the ground. Everyone is shocked and confused by what is going on.
She says "So this is dirt. Earth's soil huh? Not bad." Dev says worryingly "How are you here? Explain now Astro!"
Astro says "Why do I a god have to explain myself to a demon? Especially one that tricked a human I am vowed with."
Dev says "So you must have tricked him too." He laughs then continues "What a truly foolish human. Tricked not once but twice!"
Astro summons a staff and points at Dev "Unlike a filthy demon like you I don't trick or lie to people." Dev says "Don't lie. Everyone lies. It's a part of life."
Astro repositions the staff then drops it. This causes a barrier to erect itself around Dev and herself leaving everyone else out.
She says "Listen and listen well I want you humans to stay out of this. Let me handle this. I will be fighting on Moon's behalf."
Hikari musters all her remaining strength to ask "Is Moon ok?"
Astro turns back to Hikari and smiles "At least someone other than me cares for him." She turns away and says "Hikari your name means light. My name comes from the Cosmos itself. As long as stars shine bright I will be fine."
Dev summons lightning spears and sends them to Astro. She turns her head around and jumps to avoid it. He stomps the ground and it splits under both of them. He jumps and launches himself towards Astro. She sees it coming, channels some energy into her staff, and says "Lazarus."
This summons ice in front of Astro that are propelled toward Dev. He disappears, reappears behind, and attempts to stab Astro with a sword made of lightning.
She says "You really thought that would have worked. I have a barrier around my body too. But I do wonder how you are able to use his eyes?"
Dev says "They are mine." Astro says "If they are really yours then why aren't you using the others?"
Dev tries to teleport out of the barrier. He fails and gets stuck at the edge of it.
Astro says "I am also surprised that you haven't used your bloodline nor any type of magic. Maybe you can't use it? What a weak demon. The average angel ... no, a human who has mastered their gift can beat you."
Astro turns into a beam of light and rushes to Dev and smacks him repeatedly with her staff.
Blood painted the barrier and teeth when flying.
Everyone was shocked by the spectacle they were watching. A being called a Demon was already a problem but if this god ever decided to eliminate them they would have a chance. Everyone thought this.
Eclipse thought "If only I had that power I could be of some help. I could stop and protect my family. I have to work harder. I will protect them next time. It will be me and not that god!"
Dev thought "I still haven't merged completely with this body. Shit! Shit! And now I am being beaten by that bitch! I am losing. I am even thinking like that nobody. I have to do something. Wait?"
Dev grabs her staff and says "I caught you." He smiles like never before. "Gungnir"
A lightning spear with Heavenly proportion begins to create its shape and behind Astro and breaks the barrier. It shatters like glass. It falls straight to Astro.
Dev channels the last of his lightning into Astro stopping her from moving.
He says "I have played with you long enough. You think just because you are a god that I can't defeat you. I don't care that I will lose my grip on Moon for now. I can always come back. As long as you're dead. No one can protect him."
Astro says "No it is me who is done playing with you. I have been trying to tire you out so I wouldn't have to force you out of his body. It would lead to harmful side effects. I could just seal you but Moon would never have a chance to grow. I could have killed you at any point."
Dev loses control of Moon's body. Astro holds the pasted-out Moon and reaches her hand out to Gungnir. It perices her hand then she says "Dis-chain".
Gungnir disappears
Hikari shouts "Moon."
Astro says "Eclipse don't try to get involved in this. In fact, none of you are strong enough. Hikari control the darkness. Not the other way around."
Astro holds him in her arms, glows, and takes Moon away.
She says "They aren't ready for your path yet. Nor are you emotionally strong enough yet. I will have to train him."
She thinks "Aki no. Who is he working for? And who is giving him demon blood? His birthday is soon too. Is this all connected?"
