Belle couldn't help but roll her eyes as she remembered Allen attempting to play life coach once again when they were having a conversation earlier in the office.
"Imagine Allen advising me to sort my life out as if his own life is a pinnacle of order," she remarked to Coco.
Coco chuckled, acknowledging Allen's penchant for dispensing advice with an air of superiority. "That's just how he is – high and prideful. But you can't blame him, especially when Laura is in the picture."
Belle's eyebrows shot up in disbelief. "You're joking, right? Laura is Allen's girlfriend? Now I'm feeling sorry for him," she said with a hint of mockery in her voice.
Coco's laughter resonated in the corridor. "I was pulling your leg, Belle. Those two are quite the pair, but not in that way. They're just two peas in a pod, both equally eccentric."
