TIME TO GO HOME RICHMOND
As Richmond and Anne prepared to leave, a voice called out, "Richmond, leaving so soon without saying goodbye." It was Mr. Wilson, wearing a friendly smile alongside his wife and daughter.
Surprised, Richmond turned back, "Oh! Mr. Wilson, I thought it was unwise to tell you about our departure."
Mr. Wilson, ever gracious, responded, "No problem, Richmond. I wanted to introduce you to my family. We've been acquainted for a while now, and I thought it would do us good to involve each other's families in our business."
Unbeknownst to the gathering, every time Richmond spoke, subtle insults dripped from his words. Mr. Wilson, aware of the veiled jabs, tried to maintain composure. "This is my wife, Elizabeth Wilson, and this is my daughter, Sophie Wilson."
Richmond couldn't resist a mischievous grin, "I didn't know you were this serious about introducing me to my in-laws."
