Nathan, with the much needed confidence of a fake Alpha, stepped forward and spoke, "It is about my brother, Noah, and his heir, Richmond Ashvery."
The three council heads exchanged unknowing glances. They know Noah to be a faithful member of the council and he was a kind Alpha known for his gentleness. They wondered how the case Walters was about to make would affect Noah and his son.
As the council members began deliberating, either to listen to them or to chase the group away. It wasn't unknown that Nathan had been coveting Noah's pack and was looking for any way necessary to overtake the pack. The tension in the air remained palpable.
