What a turn of events! He never expected the discussion to shift to marriage.
He had known Mr. Wilson as a devoted father and his daughter was the apple of his eyes. She was his only child and he pampered her to a fault, she could never go wrong in his sight.
He had heard the news of her, Sydney Wilson. She was obnoxious and spoilt rotten by her parents, she was the kind of spoiled brat he usually avoids. She was too coddled for his liking.
"Marry your daughter, that is absurd!" Richmond chuckled, "I don't want to marry your daughter, give me another condition."
