JEALOUS BUT NOT JEALOUS
Richmond's footsteps echoed through the office as he made his way to Anne's desk. She was hunched over, engrossed in the conversation that took place in the restaurant. Her long blond hair was tied back in a ponytail, revealing her face. But those ridiculous-looking glasses were still on her face, slightly obstructing her perfect features.
His tall and lanky frame cast a shadow over her desk, and the office buzzed with the sounds of silence.
"So, are you dating Dawson now?" Richmond's voice broke the silence, startling Anne. Her head snapped up, her expressive hazel eyes wide with surprise.
"What?" Anne blinked in confusion, her mind still grappling with the sudden interruption.
Richmond, seemingly unfazed, shrugged his shoulders casually. "You guys look close enough," he remarked, a hint of curiosity and jealousy in his voice.
