Richmond settled into his chair, his intense, mixed-colored eyes locked onto Anthony's form, piercing him with an unwavering gaze. The atmosphere in the room was thick with tension, the seconds stretching into an eternity as the two men locked eyes. Anthony remained on his knees, his mind a whirlwind of worry and anxiety.
Finally, the silence was broken by Richmond's low, deliberate voice. "How long have you been harassing my secretaries?" he asked the question hanging in the air like a weighty accusation.
Anthony's eyes widened, and his heart raced. "Me? Harass? No, I did no such thing," he stammered, aghast at the accusation. The mere thought of harassing anyone working for Richmond sent shivers down his spine.
Richmond's expression remained stern, his eyes never leaving Anthony. "Don't think I don't know what's been going on and don't even think of weaseling yourself out of this," he warned, his tone unwavering and insistent.
