Restaurant Tension: Richmond's Request
Richmond arrived at the restaurant in a rush. His heart was still racing from the vivid dream that had plagued his sleep. The drive, usually a soothing ritual, had failed to calm his nerves. He was still on edge, desperately in need of something to remove the unsettling feeling that had gripped him.
His sleek car purred to a stop in front of the unassuming restaurant. It wasn't a grand establishment by any means; it was more of a plastic shack where people could grab a quick meal. Richmond took a deep breath, attempting to quell the turbulent thoughts swirling in his mind. He knew he couldn't let his restlessness show.
As he stepped out of his car, he noticed Ashley behind the counter. Her gaze instinctively locked onto him, her sharp senses detecting his presence through his scent. She quickly left the counter and hurried to meet him, forcing a polite smile onto her face.
