The Overlord's Unlikely Pardon
Cassius, bewildered, questioned, "How do you know all these things? I thought you couldn't leave the castle."
The Overlord, his chuckle sending shivers down Cassius's spine, replied, "You foolish bird! I don't need to physically leave the castle to be aware of my seed vessel. I have a connection to that boy through my essence. But I lack control, absolute control. That girl has become an obstacle in my path."
As the Overlord spoke, an aura of malevolence filled the chamber. Cassius grappled with the realization that the Overlord's influence extended beyond the castle walls. He thought the Overlord was stuck to the castle and was restricted from leaving.
