As Perdus entered, the Overlord's stern gaze fell upon him. The command was simple but laced with an urgency that Perdus couldn't ignore. "Get Cassius to my chamber now," the Overlord demanded, the words dripping with authority.
As Perdus hastened to carry out the order, a large bout of smoke erupted from the Overlord's mouth, narrowly missing its mark as Perdus managed to shut the door in the nick of time. The near miss left Perdus with a pounding heart.
'Who does he think he is? If not for his fire breath, he is nothing. Big for nothing bully!' Perdus cursed in his mind, he dared not voice his sentiment. If not, it was goodbye to the world forever.
Perdus rested himself against the door. His heart still beating in fast pants, and he almost lost his life for nothing.
"Don't just stand there, you measly lizard. Go and do your job." The overlord bellowed from inside the chamber, pacing agitatedly over the room.
