I LOVE YOUR FINGERS RICHMOND
Anne knocked lightly on the office door and strolled in, her steps unsure. She stopped in front of the desk and hesitated, seeing Richmond's composed facade as he stared at her. His eyes briefly softened before returning to their usual sternness.
'Jerk' she wanted to say but the fact that Richmond was her boss restrained the urge to curse out at him for the emotional duress he was making her face.
Anne took a deep breath, trying to conceal the frustration bubbling within her. She cleared her throat, breaking the awkward silence, "Sir, the departmental meeting we were supposed to hold today, should I cancel it since it is no longer morning?" Trying to keep her voice from trembling.
Richmond raised his wrist and stared at his wristwatch, his mouth curled in exclamation, "Oh! The weekly meeting?" It had already escaped his mind.
Anne nodded in affirmation, "Yes sir."
