Cheshire, unfazed by the revelation, responded with a touch of skepticism, "What do you want, Miss?"
Undeterred, Sophie pressed on with her agenda. "I overheard you guys talking, and you mentioned something about a beach and a sports event. Do you guys work at Astro World?"
Her probing questions aimed to extract information about the event and, more importantly, the involvement of a certain Mr. Richmond.
Cheshire, with a sense of guarded caution, admitted, "Yes, we do. But I don't see how any of it concerns you." The skepticism in her tone hinted at an unwillingness to share details with someone who appeared more interested in her own agenda than genuine engagement.
Internally, Sophie rolled her eyes at what she perceived as the "poor people and their stupid attitude." However, she restrained herself, recognizing the need to play a different hand. Instead, she concocted a fictitious program called "visiting hour."
