SHADOWS UNVEILING
"They are here," Nathan's voice echoed in the throne chamber. "We have been waiting for you to arrive, Richmond." His voice laced with venom.
"Hello uncle," Richmond greeted, a force smile on his face. He should have known his uncle was the one who spearheaded the case against him.
Richmond surveyed the grand room, its opulence overshadowed by the tension that hung in the air. The three heads, distinguished figures of authority, occupied their imposing throne seats, casting a watchful gaze over the accused and the accusers.
Beside Richmond stood his father, a stoic figure with a troubled expression, facing the heads. On the right-hand side, unfamiliar faces comprised his uncle, Griffin with a man who Richmond assumed must be Humphrey's father and the woman beside him must be Humphrey's wife and the pregnant woman must be Humphrey's mate. All of them accusers, their motives shrouded in mystery that Richmond could tell right away.
