Chapter 61 - Terms and Conditions

"I'm sorry, what does that mean? Can you elaborate on your choice for the name, Arthas"

Roland asked, confused about what it meant, thinking that it might become one of the most prominent organizations in the kingdom, he wondered what it would mean.

It's a really weird name for an organization and it looks like he has prepared for it as well. Roland thought about the organization that would soon be made, he looked Mayward with his eyes asking if he knew anything as to what it would mean.

Mayward stared back at him and made a gesture with his head saying that he didn't know about it either.

Both then looked at Arthas, intrigued about the word choice for the creation of this group.

"Don't think too much about it, it was just something that came to mind when I was thinking of an organization…" Arthas played it off smoothly with a light laugh at the end.

"Alright… that should be alright, I don't see anything wrong with the name and I don't think it would matter. Tell me the purpose of this organization."

Roland and Mayward then fixed their posture and looked intently towards Arthas, where they listened attentively to whatever he might say next.

Arthas felt the pressure as he began to articulate these words in a fluent manner that would show competency and confidence.

"The organization stands to protect those that are marginalized and would seek improvement through the hopes that it would adopt every lost individual around the kingdom seeking refuge from the damages of war. It is for everyone afflicted, open arms ready to accept anyone."

Arthas responded in a clear, clarity that exudes the grace of the ideology to help everyone in need, Roland and Mayward were skeptical about the intent of the organization but hearing the name and its purpose it was evident that it was for children.

Roland went back to his partner and talked silently discussing the terms that would be set forth onwards, They kept their voices low with murmurs that would be heard from Arthas's side, but nothing could be formed from this distance.

After a while, Roland separated from his colleague and stood up to continue the meeting, his face was covered with a stern expression that continued to announce the importance of the meeting.

"Tell me, one last thing. As the power that was vested on me by the Queen, I shall allow the inception of such a movement."

Mayward lightly clapped his hands which echoed through the room, and the children soon followed sensing that it might be for something special, little did they know it was more than special to the world.

"However Arthas, do please enlighten me, how do you expect to sustain this kind of organization in this environment? Although I have approved of this matter, maintaining it is a different aspect."

Mayward was ever so slightly listening while keeping the children in formation, playing with them, and telling them to prepare to go meet their parents.

While his colleague was busy with other things, Roland remained where he was staying and asked Arthas a question, and soon elaborated.

"I am sure you know that acknowledging your organization is tedious and requires a lot of processing to be fully realized, however with our help it was easy, but how do you think you can manage things? Finance everything?'

Roland lightly tapped the table as he sat down waiting for the answer that he would soon receive.

"You don't need to worry about that, good sir. I already have it in mind."

Arthas smiled as he answered the question frivolously as if trying to dodge the question.

Moltar stayed silent during the whole interaction between Arthas and the High Ranking Individuals, Although he was the chief of the village it felt like he nothing more than a stand-in for emotional support.

"Well then, I won't force the answer, I wish you well. Let us continue on the other matters at hand and recount the situation that has happened."

The room was silent except for Arthas, Roland and Mayward exchanging talks and words, Moltar and the children sat around them silently listening from the conversation.

The children were allowed to hear about the important matters at hand because there wasn't really anything major to be spoken about, the meeting went on for a couple of minutes that turned into hours.

Time flew by quickly as they exchanged ideas, and talked about many more things that mostly relate to Arthas, sometimes it would be about him but mostly it was Arthas asking about the kingdom.

Asking for information that would prove useful to him knowing the cities and kingdom might benefit him more.

There are 5 cities around Moonglade, including the Capital. These are major cities that can be traded and are efficiently tracked and have their own purpose to maintain the social structure of the kingdom.

"Enough for the redundancies, it will soon reach night and I don't want to hold the children here any longer, so let us talk about the final agenda for today… Alicia Blanche, the daughter of one of the Pillars of the kingdom…"

Roland was thinking silently as to what to make of this, he talked with his partner before and they both arrived at the conclusion that using her as a bargain would no doubt be disrespectful and hurt the friendship with Alicia's father.

"You know, this contract would not have happened if it weren't for Alicia, it all fell on her head. So why were you confident that she would brazenly accept this rash condition?"

Mayward was confused about the matter and openly asked Arthas about his thoughts.

"There was really nothing to think about, I did what I could and what I must, in the end it was the play of luck." Arthas answered honestly, he never really understood how it was successful without that much resistance.

If ever it weren't to be easily persuaded there were still other things that he could do if it comes to it, but luckily it passed and saved him time, considering the days that made him pass out.

"Well anyway, I don't think we can do anything about Alicia returning to the capital for school. We know that it might breach the contract but we really cannot do anything about it. But if you want Arthas its your chance to get her back. You are going to the academy aren't you?"

Roland inquired, getting a double check about the answer of Arthas about going to the academy, being imprisoned in school was no deal and many would think thrice or more before going.

"Yes, I understand your propositions, it is difficult to retrieve her from that area, there are many things that would inevitably happen, so I will let things play out and see what happens." Arthas calmly answered.

"Then I take it that you aren't mad, or with hostile reactions that would be detrimental to the relationship to the kingdom?" Mayward inquired.

Arthas nodded without a second thought, "I have no problems with her being far away, but I hope that you keep your end of the deal. So now let us officially close this meeting"

Arthas then stood up and Roland did the same thing, they both approached each other and gave a meaningful handshake to indicate their own willingness.

After a while, Roland and his buddy, Mayward walked out the front door and immediately disappeared after stepping out the doorway.

So that is what it looks like to other people, they really become invisible!, Arthas thought as he focused on them only to lose them after concealing themselves.

The children began to run out from the building and went to look for their parents, family, and friends.

They all swarmed the village with a warm atmosphere that brightened the mood, the parents caught off guard were unable to hold back their tears seeing their children back.

Arthas watched everything and made a happy smile as he looked at the scene with satisfaction, it was one of the things that he perceived as something special, and what others live for.

Moltar stood by his side and silently watched as everything unfolded, children running around, parents embracing their kids, people laughing and smiling with a joyful atmosphere.

There was a celebration that held significance to their lives, it was one of the most beautiful that he ever saw.

Arthas gave a long sigh blowing out his exhaustion and lifted his head high while stretching his body.

It was then a message suddenly popped up that made Arthas jump with surprise.

[T-rex Egg will now hatch in 10 minutes]

Speaking of children it seems like I would have my own responsibilities as well, Arthas thought as his face contorts with a crooked smile.
