Adam looked at the training ground almost empty only few Knights training in the corner of the ground. After some enquirer with the training knights it seems there are 14 knights and 16 apprentice knights.
Adam has not even used his skill till now not even once to test it so after coming to the field . he blacked out for a sec and remembered he did not bring anything to extract. Then he ran back to his room and looked around to check what to bring to experiment in the end he only brought one sword and went to kitchen to bring back a Goat to the training hall.
Trainee stopped their training to look at their young lord standing with 2 servants standing with a skinned goat and a sword with and aim of watching a show.
Adam looked at the goat and thought of using the skill extraction and he could feel his ability activate but he did not feel a thing and the goat stayed the same and he tried to use extraction again and he felt the skill is not even activating
He entered his conscious to see why his skill is not working on the skinned goat and to his surprise he saw a inventory like in square boxes storing items based on catogery. He saw meat , bone , vitality in the boxes separated he tried to drag the meat and drop it on the bone only to find it combine to form and skinned goat.
He opened his eyes again and looked at the goat in front of him and the goat in his mind and then first thing that get in to his mind is he is gonna be rich. As his mind went flying in third heaven. The servants where staring at him expecting him to do some thing after all their young lord asked them to bring the goat to training field.
After a minute of stand still one of the servant coughed to get Adam's attention which brought back Adam back to the mortal world and he looked at the situation and understood that he has to do something and looked at the sword and tried extraction and only to find the sword in the inventory.
And he tried to further split the sword to get bronze ingot leather and sharpness +1 , toughness +1 first he didn't understand what is going on with the bubble silver bubbles and gray bubbles in the inventory only to see their names and got shocked to think he can even extract them.
He looked at his sword in his hand and tried to move toughness and shapness to the sword in his hand and he saw the sword glow for a second but the audience do not seems to react to it.confirming his guess that his ability will not be visible to the other living beings.
Then after merging the bubbles with the sword and looking at the goat he ordered his servants to tie the goat to a tatami mat to check his sword's power. He stood still and tried to calm his mind and make a strike on the mat only to completely slip and fall.
Due to his excitement he forgot the one important detail that he is useless when it comes to skills even a basic swordsmanship which can be obtained with just a week of training with the sword.
He stood up to see all the training knights and servants surrounding him and trying their best not to laugh and how concern but failing miserably. He looked at them and to say " well thank you for laughing but seeing your red face I can say you guys are at your limit so laugh if you can not hold back " thou some of them laughed in the end most of them kept to them self.
He looked at the knight and asked "who is the head of the knights here " hearing his question a bald guy with the strong physique walked out and introduced himself as williams. And I throw the sword at him and asked him to slash at the goat and the knight looked at him once and the normal training sword he received and the knight sword in his sheath. He took a deep breath and went to the goat and studied himself and slashed at the goat only for the goat and the mat where sliced perfectly.
All the knight started cheering the head knight only for the head knight to look at the sword in his hand and at his young lord. Adam smiled and clapped along with the guard knights. Suddenly the Head Knight William put Adam's sword in the rack and took his Knight sword and went straight to the goat and slashed again to see goat to be split again perfectly he was lost in his thought.
Suddenly he looked at the other training sword in the training knights hands and borrowed it to slash again thou only 30% of the goat is left in the mat he did not care and with a slash this time but it only went half way through.
He went to his young lord and said " Please follow me to meet my lord this is important ". Adam looked at Williams and know he was seen thorough but he did not know how much he knows so he followed the knight to the barons office room.
Baron Dino even thou he does not handle his fief yet he has to sign lot of documents since only his signature can authorize to move the funds. And his family did not mind Dino adopting Adam because Dino's nobility can only be last for 2 generation if Dino get more merit then he may get extension because other then Duke and Royals other nobility will loose their title by a level every 2 generations. For example every few years war will break out between kingdoms and around 100 new baron will be appointed and some will get their fief. if this is given as hereditary there will countless barons in 50 years so with this rule barons died in the war their family can only have the title till their son's death or to fight on the front lines.
It was rare for higher nobility to loose their title since they have barons under them and on every barons achievements they get a share they can accumulate and keep their title unless they offend someone they should not.
As Dino was signing the documents he heard a knock and raised his to to say " come in" only to see Williams entering the room with Adam behind him. He could not understand how they get mingled with each other to come to his office room with such serious face.
