(Klaus's PoV)
It has been long since I have been to the mission hall. Once I created the potions, I directly sold them to the hall, since I felt it would be a hassle to take care of the sales. I could have sold a few for favors but sitting at a counter and waiting for a customer is not my thing.
I accumulated a lot of points last year and could earn a lot more this year but I have to make sure to spend all before the tournament. It would be a waste otherwise. Even if I'm not sure to achieve first place, I'm hoping to be in the top ten.
Even if it is the top ten, the ones who reach such a position can't be taken lightly. They represent the future powerhouses. They would be heavily rewarded by the nations they belong to, especially if they belong to the big three.
If I do reach the position I want, it would be a moot point to attend the academy after that. I don't think the academy would give much after I reached such a stage.
