Tessa watched her surroundings vigilantly as she proceeded. The tracks show that bears had left the initial area but she had to be cautious. Though they were the only beasts reported, one can't be careless and think that they are the only beasts that are roaming and creating havoc.
She slowly pushed forward only to see the carnage left behind. She doesn't have time to investigate them properly but to follow the tracks. Her priority is to stop the beasts from causing more damage.
Her captain has already informed her that another team would come as a backup with healers. They would take care of anyone who is still alive, if any. She had no hope on that point.
The only possible ones would be the latest encounter.
Seeing that no other creatures were around, she gradually increased the speed but never dropped her vigilance a bit.
