The tournament has finally started. The academy has posted the details of who will each student face in round one.
My opponent is Theon.
I don't know if I should think that fate playing with me or not.
To face him in round one, after almost a year, it's like fate is laughing in my face. That I am sure.
Most likely making me the stepping stone required for the "hero", who comes from a commoner background to rise by stomping the son of a rich and high-level noble.
This definitely sounds like a cringe situation from those cliche face-slapping novels.
No way in hell I would let that happen, not even in dreams. If fate wants me to be slapped, I'll slap back. Slap again and again until I'm satisfied.
Maybe I should make the "hero", my stepping stone instead. After all, I decided to show the world my capabilities.
I'll beat Theon to a state that he would never try to fight with me again or even have such thoughts.
