The new semester of the first year started the same as the previous semester. The subjects remained the same as the first semester. The only reason a semester exists is to test the students whether they are learning or slacking, at least that is what I suppose.
Well, the subjects and the lecturers are the same, so it is what my conclusion is based on the facts. The optional subject remains the same too, unless they want to quit.
I heard few did quit and I think that is stupid of them.
Quitting would only mean one thing. They either wanted to grasp something that was out of their bounds, in a single word overreaching or they didn't have the will to continue their work, which is a big no-no for a mage or a knight who always strives to reach a higher level.
Whatever the reason may be, they are either stupid or weak and it is not a good thing for them.
