I'm back at the academy now that the one-month break ended. It's probably the last time I would ever return here. So I should make the best out of this semester.
After the grand tournament, gaining a top rank would put me in the eyes of every powerhouse in the world. Almost everyone would be out to eliminate you, as they only see you as a threat to their power.
This doesn't only apply to foreign nation powerhouses but also powerhouses of the empires.
You see, a commodity like an awakened is seen as important, only when it is advantageous and the availability is too low compared to the demand. Too many powerhouses would decrease the worth of existing ones. So not all are in favor of new rising powerhouses.
Especially if the powerhouse that is going to be, is from a rival house or nation, it would lead to bloodshed.
