After having a nice chat with my family and the duke's, the day finally ended and everyone retired for the night. The duke's family chose to stay for the night on my father's imploring.
His idea is that since Selya would attend the academy this year, in two weeks, he wanted her to stay with them so that I could be acquainted with her. It would take ten days to travel to the capital if they took to travel by carriages.
They would have so little time to know each other before the Duke family departs for the capital.
After these three days, it would be almost a year later would we have any opportunity to speak with each other directly. The duke also agreed and decided to stay. The duke requested my father to send a letter to his elder son who was at the time substituting the duke's position.

I awakened another sin. It looks like I would be a Sin Mage than a normal mage.

The prince is prideful. The sin awakened because of him. Like him, most noble children would be prideful. I even heard there are many races and creatures that are prideful. So I could gain sin points by defeating them or killing those prideful ones.
Hmm, most wouldn't act prideful against the son of an archduke and a rich merchant. Should I mask myself as someone else when I go around in public? Most people would be prideful against a common adventurer.
Anyway, it was for later. For this year I wouldn't gain points that way anyway. I need to power myself up.
Now there was another notification that I can access Interface and Sin Shop.
The interface looks like the name where system options are available. There are two options, Status and Shop.
Hmm, looks like I should have got this to actually see my status but something changed because of the early awakening of the system.
Whatever, it was good that happened.
Now let's see what the shop has.
Wow....there are a lot of things. It would take a long time to check all of them. I remember some light novels where the items can be filtered.

It looks like I have to do things the hard way. I still have some time. Seyln would be here for three days and more than that I had to stay a week here before I left for Kralin. Any sudden increase in my power would only cause problems for me.
I can look at the items one by one leisurely for now.

Hmm, this looks interesting. Elemental roots... so these would grant the host who got them implanted the path to use those elements.
There are many elemental roots, each for a different element. Thunder element root looks like the costliest and earth is cheapest.
Though I mean cheapest, earth elemental root's price is at 100,000 sin points. Even after five years I didn't earn enough sin points to buy the cheapest one. Though I'm sure that I can earn them within a few months, earth element wouldn't be most useful for attacking.
I need a better attacking element like fire or lightning for better use of the sin of pride or I won't gain points easily during fights.
Thunder looks better than those two but buying it is a far cry. The price is 1,200,000 sin points. It is more than a million, when would I be able to earn so much?
Even if I awaken other sins, earning that much wouldn't be easy. From the cost point of view, I should settle for Fire. It is a bit lower than lightning. I would go for Lightning if I get points easily.
It looks like I have to wait to use the shop. No need to tire myself by looking at the items and make myself depressed by looking at the prices.
