(Edrik and Sedrik)
Nothing was going as planned in the past few months for the brothers.
Edrik was known for his intelligence and since he started to show his talent, his father did everything according to his whim. Whatever gamble the duke took, he always came on top, as long as he did as Edrik says.
Over the years the faith cemented deep into his mind. So when he asked for a girl, he immediately accepted, but things didn't as well as they hoped.
The duke wanted to make the wish of his favourite son a reality but the girl didn't agree with the proposal. He hoped that the girl's father and mother would correct her but they didn't so.
If anyone else did that to him, he would have erased the family a long time ago but this family has important connections in the empire. Though they were not as high level as him, they had more political connections than him.
