Wyll was genuinely shocked. He had seen contracts before and heard negotiations break down but to have such an auspicious deal lay before him made him gruntled. His eyes grew big as he just stared at the couple before him, presenting such an opportunity before him as he nervously gulped. He wasn't sure what to say, the offer was more than generous but never did he expect anything in return when rescuing Ali. He took a breath and went to speak as Askalon pulled out a pair of glasses.
"Right so for starters I guess we should have the written deal down before my {Wielder} just up and accepts the deal without understanding the outline. For starters, the plains of the south are not something to trifle with and if we secure resources then what? You get to make all the money and we supply products? Let's start with the simple things first. When it comes to the politics of the Coalition, we want no part of it considering our hands will already be full. As for the money part, with consideration for travel, return and so on, we want to see thirty-five percent of the profits or after the market price has been established, we will sell at a discount rate. Lastly, with us being in such a lucrative deal, we would like to make special requests at a discounted rate, for example artisans, builders, spreading the word about our newly established society."
A devilish smile crosses Noel's face as he nods. Hans seemed to be scribbling some things down before turning to Noel who nodded. Shortly after a formal contract outlining the partnership between the would be territory Wyll will establish and the Guépards'. Wyll stopped for a moment and looked up.
"And what about transport, supplies, a group of {Wielders} and stuff like that? Will it be provided or do I have to secure it on my own?"
Noel chuckles a bit and Elizabeth's face turns sour as she punches Noel in the arm and glares at him. Noel curiously raises a brow to Liz before she gets more disgruntled. She huffs and folds her arms as she looks away.
"That is also covered. I already began gathering the materials, people and so on. As far as {Wielders} are concerned I can promise a good squad of them to you. In fact they are actually newly released cadets at a prestigious {Wielder} academy a few towns over. Now fair warning, they are all spoiled brats with little to no experience in actual combat but there is another issue tha-"
The door is suddenly knocked in as dust bellows past them, a silhouette of someone wielding a gaudy hammer as loud huffing came from the dust cloud before the figure darted towards the Guépards. Wyll knew this person was fast but to him they were a bit slow as his hand shot out, grabbing the ankle of the would-be assailant before pulling them down. The hammer was dropped, slamming into the table before the person fell flat on the table with a groan as the dust began to settle. Noel shook his head as the figure slowly pulled themselves off the table, glaring as they looked back at Wyll with feline eyes, murderous intent oozing off the figure.
"How dare you grab the foot of a noble you gutter trash! Attacking me in my own home while I try to talk to my mother and father! I will deal with you first!"
A feminine voice calls out as a girl walks to the hammer and easily lifts it off the ground, turning to Wyll before raising the hammer high above her head. With a large amount of force the girl brought it down as Wyll narrowed his eyes. She was strong, but not stronger than Gideon as Wyll put a hand behind his other as he caught the blow bare handed, not feeling his skin split like Gideon's blow. The {Weapon} seemed better than Gideon's but the strength didn't match as everyone but Askalon watched in shock.
Askalon appeared calm but he really was shocked to see Wyll stop the swing, not expecting Wyll to take on an {Epic Weapon} even if the user wasn't mature to their power. He watched with more intent as he leaned forward to watch more as Wyll slipped the hammer to the side. Wyll's hands felt numb as he closed the gap, delivering a swift roundhouse kick to the girl's face. Wyll didn't aim for hurting the girl too much as the kick glanced off her chin, knocking her out and leaving minimal bruising as Wyll huffed, sweating a bit as his hands stung. The feeling in his hands wasn't returning as he felt a tad bit exhausted, sweat beading on his brow.
Askalon saw it now. Sure Wyll could stop an attack with his bare hands but the amount of stamina it took out of him made it something he couldn't easily rely on, at least yet.
"Right… As I was saying before my daughter busted into the room. One of the cadets is my daughter, Maya. As a show of faith, we planned on sending her and some of her class to accompany you. I didn't expect her to be more of a brat than last time…"
He said with a sigh before having to endure another hit from his wife as he chuckled. Maya was already being dragged off by Hans as a few people watched from the door. Wyll sighed as he picked up the quill and signed his name before Noel signed his, stopping before raising a brow.
"I believe you forgot your last name?"
Wyll's cheeks burned red as he cleared his throat nervously, taking back the contract as his head spun a bit. He wasn't sure what to even put as he searched his brain for a last name. He felt a bit of a burning in his chest as his brain seemed to make up its mind. Wyll felt light headed as he wrote. Quickly he returned the paper and huffed, rubbing his head as Noel read the paper and raised a brow.
"Are you sure you want that to be your last name? No offense but that name has no positive association with it but-"
He was cut off by Askalon snatching the paper. Wyll Amarok. Askalon felt delirious as he shook his head, thinning there could be no association as he handed the paper back.
"Yes, that is his name. The name has no association with them. I have been with Wyll awhile and he shares nothing with those creatures."
Noel nods as Askalon sighs, walking over to Wyll and patting him on the back as Wyll begins forming questions but quickly dismisses them as he stands up, putting some weight against the chair. Wyll shakes his head clear as he slowly begins to walk out of the door. A group of other cadets stood outside, eyes on him as they looked at Wyll. Wyll's face changed to more of a stern look as he felt a surge of energy. Without knowing he began to release his aura as greys, whites and blacks begin to emanate off Wyll as he looks over the cadets.
"You are all going to be joining me on an expedition, you will be apart of my squad and I expect you all to cooperate. I will not accept insubordination, I won't force you to join me or fight with me. We will be heading to the southern plains. I am also {Chaos' Champion}, if you have questions, gripes or otherwise, I will take duels at any time. We leave in two days, we will congregate here. Dismissed!"
He claps, glaring some as the aura fades. Wyll walks past the group as no one chooses to speak up as they watch Wyll walk off and away from the estate. Wyll struggled to keep his act up as he hisses a bit, holding his side as he pants, sweat dripping down his face as Askalon helped the {Wielder}, taking some of Wyll's weight as he chuckles.
"Scary act you put on back there. I think you made your point but remember that you must show compassion and mercy. A tyrant will only end up in the grave and you are no tyrant."
