Chapter 4 - Chapter 3

After meeting Madam Fortune, Auron continued his journey towards the main destination, the Cemetery of the Undead. It was an old graveyard where warriors and ordinary villagers had been buried long ago. The place often frightened the locals due to its eerie atmosphere and thick fog that always enveloped the area. Rumors even spoke of a curse cast upon the cemetery by an evil witch named Neza, a follower of the Valcron sect, a cult that worshipped Dorghan the doombringer.

Neza had once come and raised his undead army, but he didn't last long. Eventually, a brave fighter came and defeated him. Though Neza died, the terror he had brought remained, haunting the cemetery indefinitely.

Night fell, and Auron took a moment to rest and regain his strength. However, he began to sense the eternal darkness creeping around him. The pendant that Madam Fortune had given him glowed, pushing back the darkness and keeping him alert in the silent night.

Eternal Darkness was the name given to the darkness that could consume a person's soul, driving them mad and causing them to harm each other. Because of this, people dared not venture outside at night, preferring to stay in their homes.

After sufficient rest, Auron got up and continued walking through the path filled with trees and bushes on either side. At some point, he felt someone was trailing him, so he became more cautious and observed his surroundings closely.

His intuition proved correct as he spotted a swift shadow leaping from tree to tree. Intrigued, he decided to approach it, only to be suddenly attacked by a werewolf bursting out of the bushes, catching him off guard and knocking him down.

Auron fought with all his strength to fend off the werewolf's attack with his sword until he managed to break free. He then kicked the werewolf away and faced it in a fierce battle until the end.

Remaining silent and not launching any attacks, the werewolf attacked Auron first, swiftly lunging with its claws. Auron managed to parry, but gradually, he began to struggle and sustain injuries from some of the werewolf's strikes.

Refusing to be passive, Auron finally launched a counter-attack, managing to wound the werewolf. He didn't stop there, relentlessly slashing at the werewolf until it fled. Thinking he had won, he continued his journey.

However, the cunning werewolf ambushed Auron from behind, causing him to fall. Realizing that the fight wasn't over, Auron grabbed his sword and engaged in another fierce battle. Both sides parried and attacked each other.

Eventually, the werewolf managed to bring Auron down once more and pounced on him. Astonishingly, his pendant protected him by burning the werewolf. Seizing the opportunity while the werewolf's attention was distracted by the fire, Auron quickly stabbed it in the heart, causing it to die. Auron emerged victorious and continued his journey.

In the middle of his journey, he noticed that despite the wounds he received, there was no trace of blood. Perplexed, Auron chose not to dwell on it and kept walking.
