Chapter 2 - what's smile

- Dream, Believe, Dare, Do.

Four words to achieve your dream and goal, four words that summarize the lives of successful people.

Everyone knows them, but not everyone is capable of doing them.

Dreaming is simple, believing in yourself is average, daring is difficult, and doing is the hardest.

---

Three siblings share the same struggle, which is smiling.

What is a smile?

It's just moving muscles; everyone is capable of doing it, even if it's fake.

But in that house, it was something difficult; smiling was just a dilemma.

The eldest rarely smiled. All he heard since he understood people's words was, "Jaemin, smile."

And the middle one didn't even hear them. No one dared to approach him, not even his siblings, since he reached the age of seven.

"Is he crazy?"

"Why is he smiling all the time?"

"Are his facial muscles twitching?"

"That's terrifying, keep him away from me."

That's what Chenle heard for three months before being thrown into the mental hospital.

His smile wasn't noraml; it was too wide. The wider it became, the more his eyes opened in a creepy way, shimmering. He didn't blink easily; his teeth showed with that smile, and when he got tired, he would close his mouth but still keep smiling.

It was terrifying for everyone, even when he was hit, he would continue smiling. Everyone feared him, especially children.

Eventually, he ended up in the mental hospital, rejected by everyone. But despite that, his mother never abandoned him, even though she was afraid of him too.

And the youngest was the most natural. His mother was very happy; this was the first child who grew up without any abnormal signs.

But he wasn't like that. Whenever he smiled, everyone would fall for him.

"Jisung, will you go out with me?"

"Why? I mean, why do you want to date me?"

"Your appearance, especially your smile, captivates me."

Whenever he smiled at any of them, someone would think Jisung was interested in them. Because of this, he broke many hearts, and he was tired of it.
