"You need to get out of here sir!" Before the Knight could take another swing at the snake creature, she got whipped by its large tail which threw her in a tree. Ulah stood back from it after what happened to the Knight. The snake soon slithered away in pain headless from the situation.
The Knight got up swiftly and started speed-walking at the oblivious boy. Each step was harsh and unjust. Their aura was unsettling. They immediately took off their helmet to reveal who was behind the red and white armour.
It was a woman with curvy ginger hair, soft pink lips, and clear skin that was close to a model. She had the eyes of...
"The fuck are you staring at?" Shouted with the attitude of a Viking and the accent of a Norwegian woman. "I had that right there! And you go mess it up for me!" Exclaimed the aggressive Knight.
"Can you chill out? I was just trying to help you." Responded Ulah with an undertone.
The Knight took a short look at the boy, in no armour. She looked behind him at the basket.
"Take your basket and sword, and get out of here before you get hurt. You're not even supposed to be here. And where is your armour? You know what, it doesn't matter. Just get out now before something creeps up and tries to attack you." Her stern look consumed Ulahs character as she got closer.
He started stepping backwards towards the basket he dropped. She stopped and then observed him as he picked up his basket. Her eyes followed the boy as he walked around her ready to depart. He couldn't make eye contact with the woman. He tightened his lips with his cheekbones flexed trying not to look like an embarrassment in front of the knight. After creating distance he suddenly ran off.
'Grand Knight? No, it can't be… Grandmaster maybe? No. It can't be. Is someone that powerful? Here?' thought the knight with a confused look.
Meanwhile, Ulah traversed through the woods again to leave. The sword he held had weird liquid from the snake dripping as he pointed it downwards. As he was running, he remembered something came up in his train of thought.
'I heard another creature back there, will the Knight be able to handle it?' He worried himself and looked backwards. There was a mist in the air that wasn't there before. A fog lingered around which created a sinister atmosphere for anyone who would be adventuring alone. This didn't seem right. He then placed the basket of fruits on the side next to a tree hidden so that no one could find it. He set off back down the path to meet with the Knight he just had an encounter with.
But not so long a scream occurred. Ulah paused to try and hear where it came from. He couldn't stop thinking about how it was similar to the third stage he was in not too long ago. Ulah ran off in one direction following the echo of the scream. As it faded away the wind started to settle down. His Hazel eyes darted from left to right scanning the area where the noise came from. After a good three minutes of searching, he stumbled upon something…
Ulah tripped over something bumpy and fell over once again. But this time when he looked back at what tripped him up, nothing was there. He brushed it off and acted like it was nothing major.
He continued to journey through the woods until he met the Knight from earlier… And so he did. His eyes landed on the Knight once again but this time she was in a heap of trouble that seemed like it'd end in an easy death.
'Does she not have a sword on her? What is happening?'
Three large beasts were 27ft in height. Almost touching the trees with their heads. They were rocky creatures that had the same look as boulders. The shapes were sharp and their bodies were wide and hefty. One of them growled at the Knight with aggression.
There was barely an opening for Ulah to come in and strike. The creatures had jagged edges around their calves which opposed a threat for anyone who attempted to walk between the legs.
He looked to his right and saw the knight's sword that she dropped. Ulah then picked it up off the ground and it was weird. it was a lot lighter than the one he was already holding.
Ulah tried jumping up and down waving his sword in the air trying to get the attention of the Knight between the legs of the stone creatures.
The knight notices and tries signalling Ulah to throw the sword between the one with the widest stance behind her. He started running around the stone creatures until one of them noticed him.
It swung its leg backwards making an impact into the boy's ribcage forcing him to collapse and drop the swords out of his hand. The Grand Knight noticed and tried to grab the attention of the stone creature away from the boy.
'Dear God.'
He merely got up, with some strength he had left. The stone creature knelt to grab Ulah but he dodged in time. The creature had a somewhat slow movement time so it was somewhat helpful for him to manoeuvre it easily. As he limped, Ulah got around to the legs of the stone creature with the biggest opening barely holding himself together.
He throws it in and the Knight grabs it. The two other stone creatures notice Ulah and go for him instead. He turns around and started to run away from the creatures but then he was met with a large wall. They slowly approached as he was being cornered. It started to become dark and he was on the brink of passing out.
This entire time he didn't have any sort of food to help him so he was only functioning off pure adrenaline. It slowly started to become a blur. He reached out for a sign of any sort of God to save him in his dire moment.
The knight comes in and swings her sword, taking a huge blow on one of the legs of the stone creatures. The metallic sound of the sword and the rough surface of the creature making an impact with each other sound like a stab in the eardrum.
'Huh? …The sword is different?' Thought Ulah as he tried to look up at the knight. What he was seeing was a sword that had grown in length with a blue and purple aura around it. It glimmered as the Knight swung at the creatures. Ulah was wowed and tried to get up while in a great deal of pain. He stumbled backwards and fell back onto the ground losing his strength. The knight continued to fight the stone creatures with vigilance and bravery but Ulah couldn't do anything to help.
A colossal fist ready to flatten the knight from above gets sliced off mid-air as the attack was in motion. It falls onto the ground, proceeding to crawl away in a fit of despair. Another one tries to sneak in and attempt to grab the knight from a blind spot but luckily she looks back in enough time to react. A cold wisp in the air is left from the swift movement of the sword in her hand cutting the wrist of the stone creature in one vertical motion. She danced around her opponent with a steel blade integrating the object into many places that seemed to fit. The knight met the body of the last creature who stood its ground, leaving her mark wherever she could. Impaling the beast with the thin sheet of metal that she had walked with in life and digging it into the chest of the final foe like it was a gravestone.
Everything was happening so fast that Ulah couldn't comprehend anything at all and passed out…
Thirty minutes later he woke up with a terrible headache. The stone creatures, the foggy atmosphere and the knight were all gone. He looked around dazed and confused. It was as if nothing ever happened and it was all a dream. He got up and surprisingly he didn't have any pain anymore, nor did he feel drowsy. Did someone feed him before he woke, who knows? A sword was left on the floor from earlier. He carefully walked closer to the sword, looking around to see if it was some sort of trap left in front of him. He drew closer and… nothing happened. Ulah grabbed it and inspected the sword and moved forward.
He walked through the woods with his sword in his hand, and no thoughts as to what happened. But then he remembered something.
'The purple aura that surrounded the sword, what was that?' He made it back to his basket which was full of the fruits he had searched for untouched. He left the woods ready to get back to Mr Tumi.
Upon the exit, there was no one there. He placed the sword on the side of the wall where the hole was and left. He began his journey back to the Tumi household to greet them with the fruits.
After twenty minutes, someone popped up on the street. A beggar, who looked run down and broken. They stopped Ulah, while they put out their hand for something in return. Ulah moved away from this person but they were persistent.
"Go away, I don't have anything for you weirdo."
The beggar's speech was incapable of saying words that were comprehensive. Ulah put out his hand to push the beggar aside which ended up making them fall over suddenly. Ulah walked away from this situation swiftly, but it was not over yet.
The beggar continued to follow Ulahs steps for over a few blocks, until he caught on. He turned around. The beggar hid around the corner that led to an alleyway. Ulah slowly stepped forward towards this person with caution. His head tilted to peak around the corner as he approached. One step forward and he looked to his left and the beggar was… gone.
'Where did he go?' His eyes scanned the area for where he might have scattered away to. Ulah then stepped backwards and turned around back to the main road he was walking. Until something supernatural happened.
Less than a second of turning around he gets dragged into the alleyway with his back turned. He drops the basket of fruits and is unable to do anything to stop this cause.
It was as if a large hand grabbed him and forced him away from the public's view. It was getting darker as the two buildings that were right beside each other grew bigger. Reaching deep into the alley way he was now at the end. He was pulled back and swung into the wall that was on the very end. He collapsed but soon got up on his knees and arms. His head turned to his left to see who caused all of this.
The one attacking him was the same beggar as before. But something wasn't right about this one.
The eyes were bulging out with purple veins around them as if he was injected with some sort of toxin. He now had six arms, all were wrinkly and skinny as if it was a spider. The mouth started to drop down and the bottom lip melted as if it was hit with acid. The tongue was going up and down, the teeth moved but ever so slightly. It was as if he was trying to speak but he couldn't.
Something strange was happening in his chest, his heart was pumping but it was not natural. You could see it through his raggedy run down shirt as if it was about to explode at any second. It was horrific.
Ulah got up slowly trying to configure himself and understand what was happening. His body now faced the person in front of him. A noise came out of the creature who was once human. It wasn't words but it was just a string of hums that were very croaky.
Ulah put his fists up and stood in a stance ready to swing. The creature stood there for a moment staring at Ulah with a blank face. The boy's eyes furrowed. The creature growled in tune with the hum. The pupils dilated and were no longer looking straight at the boy.
