In a matter of seconds, the short video clip caused an uproar worldwide.
Countless people were dumbfounded, their brains turning into mush.
They seemed somewhat confused about what had just happened.
Could it be that they were hallucinating?
They actually saw the Five Elders receiving one of the Four Emperors?
If the Five Elders were receiving one of the Four Emperors, it meant that the World Government was receiving one of them too.
And the Marines, being the superior force under the World Government, were tasked with fighting pirates and capturing them.
And the Red Hair Pirates were, in fact, pirates.
The Marines were supposed to capture pirates, while the World Government was hosting them.
This sudden twist was too much for many to comprehend.
What on earth is going on? Can someone please tell me?
Everyone was baffled. The civilians were baffled, the nobles were baffled, even the kings of the affiliated countries were baffled. And the Marines, too, were left dumbfounded.
They had toiled and fought tirelessly as Marines, battling the pirates.
And now, here they were, the upper echelons of the World Government, sitting in a room with the top-tier pirate, one of the Four Emperors, in peaceful coexistence.
What kind of situation was this?
This scene was simply unacceptable to them. What other secrets were you hiding? Did you have to meet privately to discuss matters?
At Marine Headquarters, the likes of Sengoku and Akainu watched the projection with serious expressions.
They had never even considered such a situation happening in reality.
That the Five Elders would personally receive Red Hair, and with such politeness.
This made them recall the previous scolding the Five Elders gave Akainu, treating him as if he were a dog under their command, berating him for his lack of manners.
And now it was Red Hair's turn.
The Five Elders made time for him and treated him respectfully.
The difference in treatment compared to Akainu was like night and day.
If someone unaware witnessed this, they might think that Red Hair was the Five Elders' own person, and Akainu was the pirate.
Akainu was even more furious upon seeing this. Just what did these old folks think of the Marines?
They showed such courtesy to the enemy while treating their own people with such indifference.
What exactly were the Marines?
And that guy, the pirate they were discussing, who could he be?
What did the Five Elders and Red Hair intend to do?
Various doubts lingered in the hearts of these Marines, leaving them with a terrible feeling.
It felt as if their underlings were risking their lives while the higher-ups sat together, sipping tea and chatting, disregarding the lives of those below them.
This feeling wouldn't sit well with anyone.
Sengoku's expression also turned grim. He quickly realized that the Five Elders might have had some dealings with Red Hair behind the scenes. This probably wasn't their first meeting.
This realization made Sengoku even more displeased. The Marines were unaware of this. They had been enemies with the Four Emperors all along, yet the Five Elders had made deals with one of them. It made them feel like fools, ignorant and nervous.
Through the events at Marineford, Sengoku had come to understand the Five Elders. The Marines were merely pawns in their hands; their sense of justice wasn't the same as the Five Elders'.
This was also why he chose Aokiji over Akainu. Akainu was too ruthless, indifferent to life, and for the Five Elders, he was the ideal tool.
Sengoku didn't want the Marines to lose their sense of justice, to lose themselves.
The current scene further reinforced this belief. The Five Elders regarded the Marines as nothing more than a tool. They only saw politics, not justice.
Sengoku felt anger, but he was helpless. He was Fleet Admiral of the Marines, but that was all he was.
The reprimand the Five Elders gave Akainu in the footage, in reality, would have been no different if it were Sengoku in Akainu's place.
The true power wielders of the World Government and the Marines were the Five Elders. At best, they were subordinates.
After his anger subsided, Sengoku began to think about their conversation.
Red Hair had come to discuss a pirate matter with the Five Elders, and Sengoku didn't need to think much to guess the pirate's name.
It was Teach, also known as Blackbeard.
Two years later, if someone were to ask which pirate stood out the most in the world, there was no doubt it was Blackbeard.
The newly emerged Fourth Emperor, even Admiral Aokiji had joined him.
Furthermore, Red Hair's actions had always indicated his displeasure with Blackbeard. Sengoku wondered if it had something to do with the injury to his eye.
Whether it was when Ace went to capture Teach and warned Whitebeard on his ship, or later during the war on Marineford.
It seemed that everything he did was connected to Blackbeard, and he had many secrets hidden within him. What kind of dealings did he have with the Five Elders?
What was this man's ultimate goal? Sengoku was reminded that Red Hair had come down from Roger's ship...
After pondering for a long time, Sengoku couldn't figure it out. He had to give up. For now, even if they knew all this, it would be meaningless. They couldn't change anything.
However... Sengoku looked at the screen in the air. Perhaps they could learn more about the secrets they didn't know, the hidden ones, through this answer reveal livestream.
...
The news about the secret between the Five Elders and Red Hair quickly spread among the pirates.
Many pirates were shocked. We have a traitor among us?!
Many of them had a favorable impression of Red Hair.
His actions were domineering and charismatic, especially during the war at Marineford when he said, "Give me a challenge." This display of power won over many fans among the pirates.
But now they discovered that this guy was involved with the World Government's Five Elders.
Many pirates began to suspect if there was a spy from the World Government among the Four Emperors?
This seemed too absurd. Has this spy infiltrated the ranks of the
Four Emperors? Why not become the Pirate King instead?
Both sides are people from the World Government. Why are they putting on a show?
Such thoughts arose among many pirates. Even Big Mom and Kaido were taken aback...
Red Hair, with his thick eyebrows and big eyes, turned out to have unclear connections with the Five Elders.
Could he bring the Marines with him in the future to seize their territories?
Is there a possibility of such a thing happening?
The two former members of the Rocks Pirates suddenly remembered the past when Red Hair's former captain, Pirate King Gol D. Roger, came with the Marines to attack their captain, Rocks.
Could this be a tradition of the Roger Pirates?
The members of the Whitebeard Pirates were also bewildered by the situation, unsure of what was happening.
Which side does Red Hair really belong to?
However, Whitebeard and his crew realized the purpose of Red Hair meeting with the Five Elders. It was probably for the sake of Blackbeard. Perhaps Blackbeard, Teach, was causing trouble in the New World, and Red Hair wanted to team up with the Five Elders to eliminate him.
Regardless, these few seconds of footage were broadcasted worldwide through the livestream and caused quite a stir.
Speculations about Red Hair's identity were rampant. Some suspected him to be a spy for the World Government, while others speculated that he wanted to unite with the Five Elders to seek revenge against Teach for the scar on his eye.
Regardless, it was confirmed that Red Hair possessed the ability of the Gomu Gomu no Mi, the Gum-Gum Fruit.
Not only did he gain the Marines' Fleet Admiral Sengoku and Blackbeard's cooperation to stop the war during the Summit War, but now even the Five Elders showed him respect and had a friendly conversation with him. His influence was significant.
In comparison, people began to suspect whether Akainu was also a dual-fruit user. Besides the Magu Magu no Mi, did he also consume the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Shame Fruit?
At the Summit War, Whitebeard shattered Akainu's dignity, and later a young Marine stripped him of his pride. Then, Red Hair came out and used his Fruit ability to completely humiliate Akainu.
And in the end, Sengoku, who had reluctantly given him some face, didn't hesitate to recommend Aokiji as the Fleet Admiral.
Lastly, and unexpectedly, the Five Elders, who had been supporting Akainu as Fleet Admiral, didn't give him any face behind his back.
If this guy didn't consume the Shame Fruit, then he was simply shameless.
...
The footage finished playing, and the scene returned to the Moby Dick.
Luo ke reappeared in front of everyone. "Welcome back. The footage from the Summit War has also been shown. This quiz has come to an end.
The participants of this quiz were the Whitebeard Pirates. There were ten questions in total, and they answered eight correctly, with an accuracy rate of 80 percent.
"Please wait a moment, everyone, while I prepare the rewards for this round," Luo ke said.
People from all over the world stared at Luo ke, eager to see what the rewards would be this time.
Luo ke had already presented many great items, so what would it be this time?
On Luo ke's side, the system began the settlement process.
[Quiz session concluded, settlement in progress]
