Chapter 24 - Chapter 24: This is the Summit War!

However, before Aokiji's ice spear could reach Whitebeard, Whitebeard unleashed a punch into the void, causing a shattered illusion to appear.

In an instant, the ice spear and Aokiji's body began to crumble, turning into a pile of ice debris.

The initial clash between Whitebeard and Aokiji came to a temporary end, but it greatly boosted the morale of the Whitebeard Pirates.

With the frozen sea created by Aokiji's Ice Age, they now had solid ground to stand on.

As the battle between Whitebeard and Aokiji concluded, the Summit War erupted in full force.

The captains and members of the Whitebeard Pirates surged towards Marine Headquarters, launching a massive invasion.

The air was filled with shouts and the sound of cannon fire, but standing in their way were the Vice Admirals of the Marine Headquarters. The captains of the Whitebeard Pirates clashed with the Vice Admirals in fierce combat.

In the midst of the chaos, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea unleashed a flying slash towards Whitebeard. A tremendous sword aura shattered the icy surface and slashed towards Whitebeard, only to be intercepted by Diamond Jozu.

In another part of the battlefield, the captain of the Whitebeard Pirates' First Division clashed with the Marine Admiral, Kizaru.

On the platform below the execution stand, only Admiral Akainu remained seated. He stood up, his right arm transforming into molten lava. Countless streams of lava soared into the sky, raining down like a meteor shower upon the crowd of the Whitebeard Pirates.

At this moment, the entire battlefield descended into a horrific scene resembling hell itself.

It was at this point that everyone realized the magnitude of the Summit War, the true nature of this battle.

It was powerful, terrifying, and offered no room for the weak. Every moment meant the loss of lives.

This was the Summit War!

The war unfolded with such brutality that it took the Whitebeard Pirates and the Marines by surprise.

Despite their previous expectations that this war might result in mutual destruction, the reality depicted in the footage showed that the lives of both pirates and marines were hanging by a thread. The battle had only just begun, yet there were already significant casualties on both sides.

However, the true fight had just begun.

In reality, both Whitebeard and the Shogun wore grim expressions. The scale of the casualties weighed heavily on the Whitebeard Pirates, and the Shogun was also concerned about the prospect of other pirates taking advantage of their clash with the Whitebeard Pirates.

After all, there were still three other Emperors remaining.

Although the war was initiated by the Shogun, he couldn't predict its development and outcome.

He realized that launching a war against an Emperor-level pirate in the future would require even more caution... The Shogun pondered on this thought.

In the footage, a group of individuals descended from the frozen tsunami and landed near Whitebeard.

As they focused their gaze and recognized who these people were, they were all stunned.

Luffy wearing a straw hat, Crocodile with his golden hook hand, the clown-like fellow, the eccentric and flamboyantly dressed individual, and another Warlord of the Sea, Jimbei.

This combination shocked everyone, especially the Sengoku and his allies, as two Warlords who were not called upon had unexpectedly appeared here.

"These two bastards betrayed us?" the Sengoku exclaimed in anger.

"I can understand Jinbe's presence, but why Crocodile?" Akainu questioned with confusion as he looked at the footage.

Meanwhile, in Alabasta, Crocodile was startled and stood up from his seat.

A curse word almost slipped out of his mouth.

Why was he appearing at this moment?

And why was he standing alongside these individuals?

Cold sweat trickled down Crocodile's back.

If it was revealed at this moment that he was standing against the Marines, Crocodile could forget about staying in Alabasta. The Marines' dismissal and pursuit would come without delay.

He had been on the verge of completing his plans in Alabasta, but he hadn't expected this sudden turn of events.

Crocodile, who had always presented himself as indifferent and composed, was now in a panic.

Fortunately, Crocodile noticed that in the footage, after his appearance, he immediately attacked Whitebeard but was then kicked away by the straw hat-wearing Luffy.

Although Crocodile was surprised that this brat could kick him away, he finally breathed a sigh of relief. Thankfully, he wasn't on the side of Luffy and Whitebeard.

As long as he wasn't standing against the Marines, his plans could still proceed smoothly.

Crocodile, who had just stood up, sat back down and leaned back in his chair, calmly watching the live broadcast.

At the same time, the people at Marine Headquarters also realized that they had misunderstood Crocodile. Since Crocodile had made a move against Whitebeard, it was evident that he wasn't their enemy.

Their attention shifted to the other two individuals instead.

Vice Admiral Brannew reminded Sengoku, "That clown is Buggy."
