"Whitebeard has a rule that no one, regardless of who they are, can harm their family, even if they are one of their own.
They simply regarded Teach as a filler option.
Seeing that Teach's expression wasn't too good, the people around him smiled and said, "Teach, don't worry about it. It's obvious that this was done by the Marines. Three out of the four options are Marine Admirals. Isn't it impossible for any of them to be the one who killed Ace?
It's not like you could have killed Ace, right? Everyone agrees, don't they?"
"Of course, besides, Teach couldn't even defeat Ace. It's impossible for it to be Teach, haha."
"Haha... That's right, that's the logic..."
...
Teach could only awkwardly smile and nod in response. In his heart, he thought, "What does it have to do with me? Don't drag me into this." He had no interest in these matters at all. He only cared about one thing...
Teach being mentioned in the options didn't attract much attention. Instead, the three Admirals above him drew more interest.
Whitebeard's expression darkened slightly, and he didn't feel relieved by his sons' words.
Ace being killed was definitely not good news for him. The Whitebeard Pirates had put forth all their strength to rescue Ace and failed. It was a huge blow to them.
It was foreseeable that many members of the Whitebeard Pirates would die in the operation to rescue Ace, and the losses would be devastating.
If this future was indeed true, then this war was clearly not what Whitebeard had hoped to see."
He couldn't bear such a painful cost. He also thought of the two questions that Garp had in mind: How was Ace captured and who killed him? At present, the most likely person among the three admirals to have killed Ace is Akainu. He's like a mad dog with a strong inclination for killing.
But he couldn't figure out how Ace was captured, so he made up his mind that Ace should never leave his side in the future. This was crucial for the safety of the Whitebeard Pirates and had to be handled with caution. The Whitebeard Pirates were not afraid of battles, but they didn't want to fall into the enemy's trap either. Each of his sons was a cherished family member, and he didn't want any of them to be killed.
As they pondered, everyone actually had the same answer: Akainu. There was no disagreement among them regarding this answer. Whitebeard addressed the mysterious man and said, "Answer: c: Admiral Sakazuki, codename Akainu."
"Correct answer," the mysterious man affirmed. "During the Summit War, Ace did indeed die at the hands of Akainu. In the moment when he was about to kill Luffy, Ace stood in front of him and was punched through the stomach by Akainu, resulting in his death at the age of twenty."
Upon receiving the confirmed answer from the mysterious man, the expressions of the people did not reveal any joy but rather grew solemn. This was because Ace was already twenty years old this year, indicating that the Summit War took place within this year, in the near future.
Apart from knowing that Ace would be publicly executed by the Admiral and his lineage, and that he died during the Summit War, they had no other information. They didn't know how Ace was captured or what the outcome of the Summit War was.
Knowing that the Whitebeard Pirates would face a great catastrophe, they couldn't be happy at all. No one can be happy when they know they will fall into someone else's trap in the future.
Whitebeard looked at the mysterious man and asked, "How was Ace captured? And what will be the outcome of the Whitebeard Pirates in the Summit War?"
Whitebeard's words immediately caught the attention of the people watching the live broadcast. The members of the Marines, including Sakazuki and Kuzan, took a deep breath. This was related to the order of the future world. They could even imagine how Whitebeard, engulfed in anger after Ace's death, would do something crazy. The world's strongest man couldn't be underestimated.
However, the mysterious man didn't answer his questions.
"I refuse to answer. This is my domain. I ask the questions, and you answer. That's the rule. Unless I'm willing to say it, I have nothing to disclose."
The mysterious man snapped his fingers. "The five questions have been answered. Congratulations, you all answered correctly. As agreed, I will give you the corresponding rewards. But before that, there is one more process to complete."
The mysterious man opened his hands in a welcoming gesture. "Let me welcome all the friends from around the world who are watching this live broadcast. Welcome to this quiz show."
These words stunned the members of the Whitebeard Pirates.
Friends from around the world?
They looked around but didn't see anyone else.
Then they saw the image in the sky, and a bad feeling suddenly arose in their hearts.
A voice from the sky continued, "Your guesses were correct. This live broadcast is being simultaneously aired in the East Blue, West Blue, South Blue, North Blue, Grand Line, and Red Line, among other corners of the world. Nearly billions of people worldwide are watching this quiz show.
For this quiz, the chosen stage is the Moby Dick, and all members of the Whitebeard Pirates on the Moby Dick will participate as contestants. There will be five questions. If you answer all five correctly, congratulations to the members of the Whitebeard Pirates."
