Hey guys.... it's me.... Memes. I am back from the dead. How have you been?
Good I hope. I have been fine....
Long story short I got extremely busy. I went back full time at College. I changed my major. I got a new job. I got married (jk). Nevertheless I simply did not have time to pump out chapters as I did. Especially when I look back and see that in only 20 chapters I nearly had 100k words. While the first Halo story at 40-something chapters had just above 100 at 103k
Because of that I thought, I'd just take a week. Then one week turned into two, then three, and you catch my drift. So, I must apologize to all those who were engaged and reading day by day, for that I must sincerely say that I am sorry, and no excuse can be made for the time you believed to have wasted.
However
Someone told me a long time ago, "Don't make a girl a promise that you know you can't keep,". So if you are willing, I think we should run it back, because I haven't heard no bell yet. But if you are worried about me flaking out again. I totally understand, and disregard this false hope while going about your day. For those who stay, let me lay out my thoughts about revival.
I think the biggest issue that I had was trying to keep a consistent (even though it wasn't at all) upload schedule while going about life. Therefore, this time I am going to write out large parts of the story before I begin uploading. Kinda like seasons, but I don't really plan to have long breaks in between them.
Now, I also think I am going to rework/partially rewrite the story so far. I have had some time to look back and I think over all the story was going fine, but I also think I missed a LOT of opportunities, and I think I disappointed more than a few with the direction I took some things. Which is where I want YOU yes YOU to tell me what you liked or disliked, and for you to drop some suggestions on what you might like changed, of course these may or may not be included.
Or should I rewrite it at all? In other words should I just continue along with the story so far? Think it over, because I plan to let this circulate for a couple days before I make a definitive step. That was another previous problem, I was a bit too impulsive with certain things.
All in all these are my major thoughts on round 2 the electric boogaloo. So what do ya think?
