POV Thanatos.
The sun on this planet was extremely large, covering a considerable area to heat the atmosphere. The temperature was acceptable, but I couldn't get used to the gravity at all.
Finding myself on an alien world, I was met by an army of thousands of trolls and ogres.
My sister and I gazed out into the edge of the forest while we were in the vast expanse of the plain clearing. A sense of awe hung in the air when I saw their leader in battle form - Wagdrot had unfastened his green beard and outfitted himself with what seemed to be ordinary gear made of wood and rags. His towering figure stared into my eyes with an aura of malice. A vile troll with fangs protruding from his lower jaw stood in the vanguard.
Next to him was a masculine woman with purple hair whose eyes glowed with the color purple.
— Huh, they're both First Star System ranks, — Nemesis told me with mild amusement, then mussed my snow-white hair and gave serious advice, — His army is mostly made up of Second Star trolls. But most of the ogres are Third and Fourth Star, or even Fifth Star. Be careful, there are a lot of them. They can crush you in numbers.
— Sister, I have confidence in myself. I can destroy this army, but if these two strong cultivator-monsters interfere, I might die quickly!
— Don't worry, you can handle them. They will only attack when you are done with their army, that I guarantee you, — after her words, Nemesis assumed a lotus pose near the portal and began to squeeze any gaseous substances that were present in the nearby atmosphere.
— Surrender, you slave, and perhaps we will spare you! The white-haired woman you can give to us as your freedom, — Vagdrot unscrupulously dictated unthinkable terms, being with an army 500 yards (450 meters) from me.
I felt a sincere hatred for this vile troll. The very thought of such a filthy animal touching my own sister was repulsive on a genetic level.
If I imagined that my sister was weak, then my defeat would mean that at the very least she would be raped, and at the most, cooked in a cauldron and eaten. Invasion of an alien planet and battle with a fairy race is not as fun an experience as I expected. Trolls, ogres, goblins... absolutely ruthless!
There was an oppressive atmosphere in the flower meadow, as if darkness itself was pressing on my shoulders. The distant hum of footsteps and the guttural growl of the green monsters rumbled in the wind, creating an ominous symphony that spread beneath the ground. The vibrations of their footsteps reached my feet.
— FOR DELDAR, FOR KING AND QUEEN! TO ATTACK! — Vagdrot commanded, sending an army to fight against me alone.
The size of the gathering horde sent shivers down my spine, for I knew that the coming battle would not be easy.
I clenched my sword tighter: the blade glinted with the glow of Chaos energy, and my body was cloaked in a red veil that would protect me from the merciless blows of ogres and the sharp claws of trolls.
I sprinted toward them with a sharp jerk, and to confuse the fighting force, I gathered a blob of energy in my right hand and squeezed it into a sphere to hurl it at the front ranks of the trolls.
Several archers took aim at me and fired, but all the arrows inexplicably flew high into the sky. When I was close enough, I fired the orb into the first ranks of the enemy.
*Explosion*
— Aaaaahh, — the trolls began screaming in pain as the inexplicable power of the small orb managed to destroy dozens of trolls in an instant.
The glade quickly turned into a battlefield as the tall grass and flowers rippled with eerie leap.
I had a clear goal. To destroy the entire army and cut off Wagdrot's tongue, feeding it to a nearby female troll. My sword cut through the trolls with precision, but when the ogres reached me, I had to dodge and retreat more often.
Their brute strength and power made it difficult to advance toward my goal. And given the unknown force of the planet's gravity, it was difficult for me to control all my body movements.
— This is some kind of nonsense! His level of cultivation is only Second Star! You worthless idiots can't handle one cultivator of the human race? — Wagdrot shouted unhappily at his army, covering them in verbal filth.
I heard his words. It gave me a snide grin while killing trolls and ogres. I had to spin around my axis at high speed as they came at me from every angle.
In fact, I was surrounded by an army of thousands. I had many advantages over their higher ranks, but the main one was the power of Chaos.
Everyone below the Third Star literally killed themselves when they tried to touch me. I was covered in a shroud of Chaos, so most of the trolls died without my help.
If Wagdrot's army had consisted of mages and ranged cultivators, then I would have died very quickly! But as I realized, it was much harder for monsters to gain abilities related to magic and the power of nature, rather than physical characteristics, as is often the case.
— Aaahhhh! Run away! He cannot be stopped, — some trolls began to incite other congeners to flee and defect because they wanted to keep their lives.
I began to slowly tire and exhaust myself, but more than half the monsters have already been killed by me! Ogres of the Fifth Star rank are the hardest to face, for my blade is not sufficiently imbued with the power of Chaos to penetrate the sturdy torso.
— How dare you! You will be executed with the utmost cruelty for your apostasy, and your families will be sent to the mines! Stand fast to the end! - Wagdrot gave the order, sensing intense fear in the ranks of the army.
The roar and roar of the trolls reverberated through the air as they were enthused by the leader's speech. Or maybe they were just much more afraid of condemning their family to slavery by desertion.
...
Thirty minutes passed, which I spent in the very center of the clearing. I stood amidst the onslaught of the enemy with a sword that was soaked in the blood of trolls and ogres. I had to move at supernatural speed to strike monsters that were several orders of magnitude higher in rank.
I destroyed over a thousand green monsters, and many of the bodies turned into shapeless mush, unable to withstand the chaotic force emanating from my cold weapons. I also had time to become accustomed to the harsh environment of the planet Deldar. That's what it was called.
— Ah... ah... — I had a crazy shortness of breath. I fought incessantly against an army that outnumbered me in rank and numbers.
Whew! Now I'm so glad I have the energy of Chaos flowing through me! After the battle, I understood why such cultivators are feared and cleaned up.
My shaking hands rested on the sword thrust into the head of the last ogre, who was of Sixth Star rank. He was the only one with the Sixth Star, but dealing with even one was no easy task.
I turned toward my sister, who was quietly meditating near the portal with a dense sphere of gases in her hands. She was not paying attention to what was happening on the field, and was focused on her own business.
— Nemesis, I beg of you, tell me that fighting the two of them will not be ten times harder!
Nemesis heard me in spite of the great distance. She opened her eyelids and revealed a sadistic smile that sent shivers down my spine.
DAMN! This is unreal! How could I, with my Second Star rank, defeat two evolved trolls? They're First Star System monsters, and that's at least Ten Stars!
— The power of Chaos? — Wagdrot made a bold assumption. He was analyzing my fight and after a long time he could figure out how I managed to destroy his army with only a Second Star.
I snorted and turned to the vile leader, who was only 50 feet away from me, to shout out a threat, — You're next, motherfucker!
Wagdrot looked at his companion and said, — Elder Ebeta. Bring me the boy's soul and then the human woman's living body. I will enjoy her before dinner.
— I obey, my lord! — shouted Ebeta in her brown robes. She began to walk slowly toward me, forming green waves of magical energy near her. I could see the white combat coloring on her face. Her smooth brush movements, majestic gait, and complete composure expressed deep martial experience.
Fuck, she's a mage! I've never fought another mage before!
My throat was very dry, and my body was aching with physical fatigue. But I mustered the rest of my stamina, frowned, and tried to read the course of action ahead.
— I'm sorry, boy, but this has become a private matter! — the female troll warned me, before unleashing an endless stream of destructive energy.
I thrust my sword forward and used it as a shield, filling the blade with the essence of Chaos.
*Clap*
— CRAA-AAH! — I gritted my teeth in excruciating pain. My arms and shoulders went numb as I collided with the troll elder's green energy.
Realizing that this could last until I was exhausted, I escaped the impact by ducking under the magic beam. Then I needed a distraction, so I concentrated all the Chaos energy at the tip of the blade tip and threw the weapon into Ebeta's heart with maximum force.
— Oh! You little fucker! — she grinned as she had to stop the attack and create a shield thick enough to handle the chaos power of my rank.
As she fended off the attack and wanted to exclaim happily, I emerged from under her blind spot and aimed a pointed palm at her neck, aiming to cut off her head.
— NO! — Wagdrot was frightened for Ebeta's life and intervened sharply, being in front of me before I could strike her head.
He put his arm out in front of me and took the attack on himself.
*Twirl*
My Chaos-soaked palm sliced off Wagdrot's left limb, and then the big troll kicked me with all his might.
I felt the agony of hell from several broken ribs and bones as my body flew across a field of fraternal monster graves.
— Fsah-ah... bitch! Ahhhh! — I groaned in pain and was unable to get up from my seat. My bones cracked with every movement, even the sighing and exhaling.
Maybe my attack power was at a phenomenal level, but my defense was very weak without the Chaos energy shield.
I tried to bring myself to my senses, but I knew that I was concussed. My vision was blurry, my images were double, and my body was unresponsive.
The footsteps of Wagdrot and Ebeta only grew louder.
— Give me your dainty soul, child of Chaos! — Wagdrot reached out to rip my head off and pull out the Vial Soul, but at that moment there was an energy explosion and an intimidating voice sounded.
— How dare you, you wretched creatures! No one has the right to inflict so much pain on my little brother but me, — My sister screamed furiously. I turned to see Nemesis destroying the spatial teleporter to the planet Earth. In her hand was the same compressed sphere of gas.
She was able to put a protective dome on me, despite the distance of 500 yards.
After Wagdrot and Ebeta froze in place due to intense fear, Nemesis began to levitate above the ground. As she rose to a decent height, she aimed a compressed sphere of energy at them and shouted, — I will erase your existence from all reality!
Before she released the orb, I noticed that it glowed like a small sun.
Had Nemesis accelerated the gas molecules that were there to heat the little ball to the temperature of the hot stars? I hope her protective dome can withstand the impact of the sphere.
— P-Please don't kill us! We didn't know you were a strong cultivator! We will retreat, forever, I beg of you! — Wagdrot began to shout in panic, kneeling down with the elder.
— That's right! Forever! — Gritting her teeth, Nemesis released a sphere that reached us in a second and produced a huge explosion comparable to a nuclear bomb.
*Rumbling*
I closed my eyes as I saw a great flash of light. I heard a rumbling sound that rushed past me at supersonic speed. It was a terrifying sight. Both trolls shattered into molecules, as did the bodies of the army of thousands that I had destroyed up to that moment.
The entire forested area within 100 miles (160 kilometers) turned into scorched earth, and 10 miles of forest clearing became a deep crater in an instant.
— Oh, Mother of God! Nemesis, I didn't know you could do that. How strong you are, — I asked, not expecting to hear the answer.
Nemesis waited a few minutes for the dust to settle, and then she took off my protective dome and said, — I am so strong that there is not a cultivator or an evil thing that I would cowardly run away from!
I smiled painfully as I looked at my dirty clothes. I had many cuts and internal fractures, and my clothes had turned to rags.
Nemesis gave me a vial of liquid and said, — Drink it. It will speed up the recovery of stamina and the healing of the body.
I took my sister's advice and greedily swallowed all the liquid from the small jar.
— Phew, that's better! You miscalculated the strength of my protection, I could have died, — I pinched my sister's nipple through my clothes.
Nemesis bit her lips and lowered her head guiltily.
— I'm sorry, Thanatos. I completely forgot that you can't keep a protective veil of Chaos energy on at all times.
Nemesis quickly kissed my cheek and hugged me, squeezing into his large bust. I softened a little, but asked a logical question, — I'll think about your forgiveness. Only how will we get home if you destroyed the spatial teleporter? I forgot that nuance myself, ha ha...
Nemesis stood up on tiptoe, kissed my chin and gently stroked my cheek, enjoying my existence, — We'll return to Earth through another portal. This one was number 62. We can find the nearest one and... fuck... no, no, no, NO!
Nemesis turned her head toward the scorched wasteland. I didn't understand who she'd noticed or what was stressing her out so I asked, — What happened?
— Jeez, not her! Get the hell out of here! — Nemesis put me on her back, covered us with a protective veil of air, and flew high into the sky, trying to get us away from the scene of the bloody battle and the explosion of the compressed sphere.
My older sister was hurtling along at the speed of a comet. We were covering hundreds of miles in seconds. After a couple of minutes, Nemesis began to descend to the ground.
— Where are we? — I asked as soon as we landed.
— On the other side of the planet. It's Deldar, stupid me! Is she so lazy and dumb that she decided to send an army from the main planet of her race? — Nemesis began nervously talking to herself. Her eyes and gait flitted from side to side.
I couldn't help but laugh at her behavior, — I thought you said a few minutes ago that you weren't cowardly running away from anyone. Ironic, heh.
Nemesis gave me a frown and gave me an educational crack on the back of the head, — This is serious business! We need to leave the planet through any other portal, or else...
— AH! NEMESIS! You've been hiding from me for over 17 years! Darling, is that really you? — happily shouted out from afar a female voice with a coarse timbre.
It was an unknown female figure who flew toward us at high speed.
I heard a sad sigh from my own sister, — Fuck you-u-u, Thanatos, hide behind my back. I'll have to deal with one pesky leech...
