After hearing Buggy's words, Mr. 3, Mr. 2, Mr. 1, and even Luffy, who had been eating heartily, all looked at Buggy in shock.
Luffy appeared dazed, with an indescribable feeling washing over him. The other three were visibly excited. They considered themselves fortunate to be following such a bold and powerful captain.
Even Ivankov, who was accustomed to witnessing grand spectacles, couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement in his heart. Clown Buggy! Information about this man flooded his mind in an instant.
It was difficult for him to imagine that this man, who had been merely a cabin boy in the Roger Pirates on Oro Jackson with a bounty of 15 million for two decades, now displayed boldness he had never witnessed in even Dragon.
Truly befitting of someone with Conqueror's Haki! However, Buggy the clown, why had he concealed his strength and ambition for the past ten or twenty years, only to reveal it now? Was it solely for the sake of a jailbreak?
The red-haired guy, Akagami Shanks the former apprentice of the Pirate King, now was one of the Four Emperors in the New World. If Buggy had ambition like Shanks, he should have revealed it long ago. Could it be because of Fire Fist Ace, the son of the Pirate King?
Did he refuse to witness the captain's son perish in such a chaotic situation? As for standing atop the world, well, he might have already achieved it by now. If fame and fortune were his desires, he need not rescue Ace like this.
It all boiled down to his hidden feelings regarding the rescue of Roger's son. What a man, valuing both love and Relations! Ah, the cursed nostalgia of the past that found no place to rest!
With these thoughts, Ivankov gazed at Buggy with admiration. Energized, Ivankov stood up, raised his hands, and exclaimed, "Eh-ha! Whether it's for Dragon's Son or Fire Fist Ace! In that case, let me, Emporio Ivankov, lend you my aid!"
"Grateful," Buggy responded, slightly bowing, though he couldn't comprehend the sudden change in Ivankov's demeanour. Since Ivankov had agreed to join the team, he was more than welcome.
Rising to his feet, Buggy glanced at the surveillance screen and then turned to Ivankov, asking, "Ivan, you've been here for quite some time. I assume you're familiar with Impel Down's sixth floor—Eternal Hell?"
Ivankov nodded upon hearing the question. "Naturally. Fire Fist Ace was imprisoned on the sixth floor before."
"Well, do you know how to access the sixth floor?" Buggy went straight to the point. "Since Magellan has stationed so many guards on the first and second floors, I thought it would be beneficial to bolster our team's strength if possible."
These words caught Ivankov off guard. His face changed drastically as he exclaimed, "You intend to free the prisoners of Eternal Hell!?"
"Why not?" Buggy calmly regarded Ivankov with a grin. Ivankov shuddered and responded, "No, absolutely not! The creatures inside are far too dangerous. Releasing them would cause utter chaos!"
Buggy maintained his calm demeanour as he replied, "Then what does that have to do with me? Ivan, ask yourself, does the world still need a status quo between Marines, Pirates and Revolutionary Army? As a member of the Revolutionary Army, you should understand this better than anyone. As long as the Celestial Dragons exist, chaos will persist because they are the root cause."
Ivankov fell silent, and seeing this, Buggy chuckled and said, "Don't worry, I'm not the kind of person who would release them for nothing. Besides, even without me, they would be set free soon. I'm just a step ahead."
With astonishment written on his face, Ivankov looked up at Buggy and asked, "What do you mean by that?"
Buggy waved his hand dismissively and replied, "So, Ivan, lead the way. I'd like to visit the sixth floor and see if I encounter any familiar faces. Perhaps we can find unexpected support during the jailbreak. It would make breaking through the blockade easier."
Familiar faces? Ivankov pondered the meaning of Buggy's words. Suddenly, his body trembled, and he looked up at Buggy, saying, "Familiar faces! Could it be that you..."
"Hush!" Buggy raised a finger, chuckling and shaking his head. "You'll find out soon enough."
"Very well!" Ivankov nodded heavily. He then turned his head to address his enthusiastic younger brothers who had been listening intently to the conversation between Ivankov and Buggy. He shouted, "Inazuma, we're about to leave!"
Upon Ivankov's call, a man with half-yellow and half-white hair, wearing round sunglasses and holding a goblet of red wine, slowly emerged from the crowd. He bowed to Ivankov and said, "Master Ivan, everything is prepared."
Upon hearing Lightning's words, Ivankov raised his hand and shouted excitedly, " We're departing! Are you ready!?"
"Ready, Your Majesty the Queen!" they responded.
"Heh-heh! Then let's go, to Eternal Hell! A few minutes from here, there's an entrance to the sixth floor of Eternal Hell," Ivankov exclaimed, waving his hands enthusiastically. He and his okama sisters were ready to embark on their journey.
Just as Ivankov's crew members brimmed with excitement, Buggy's voice suddenly reverberated, "I don't think it's necessary to go through so much trouble. If my guess is correct, the sixth floor of Eternal Hell lies right beneath our feet."
Hearing Buggy's words, Ivankov and the others subconsciously nodded, though Ivankov paused for a moment before asking, "Buggy, what do you mean by that?"
Buggy, diverting from the question, responded, "Do you still need this base?"
Shaking his head, Ivankov replied, "We've all left, so this place is of no use anymore."
"Good," Buggy said, his smile becoming peculiar. "Then let's head directly to Eternal Hell from here. Everyone, be prepared."
After a brief pause, he added in a deep voice, "Full decomposition!" At that moment, his hands emitted a dazzling white light, and to the astonishment of everyone, he pressed them against the ground.
Witnessing this scene, confusion filled the faces of those present. Mr. 3, however, turned pale and immediately exclaimed, "This is bad! Everyone, get ready! This floor is about to collapse!"
