Andreas's POV
Total silence. I was alone once again, but this time, it hit differently. The harshness of my reality hit me and the impact was like a wreaking ball. All I could hear was the wind blowing harshly against the closed windows. I was sitting on one of the dinning chairs and my thoughts were filled with that woman.
"Isabella" I called out her name, but she was gone now and it was my fault. I had asked her to leave, believing that it was the best thing to do for both of us. But I was suddenly filled with regrets and I wanted her back, however I had no plans of going after her. It was for the best, I continued to convince myself.
I drew in a deep breath and shuddered as I remembered the look on her face when I had asked her to leave. It was difficult for me, especially when I saw the hurt look in her eyes. But my mind was made up so there was no turning back.
