Chapter 20: The Emergence of Unknown Energies

Earth, Dubai, Year ????. On the highest floor of the Burj Khalifa, a young man stood in silence. With black hair adorned by a red stripe intertwined around each strand, he wore a tuxedo suit, his hands nestled in his pockets. From this elevated perch, Gabriel, now known as Inarius, gazed down upon the bustling streets of Dubai. The city below resembled pulsating veins, with a road network spreading like an intricate web, connecting neighborhoods, business districts, and iconic landmarks. The streets seemed to dance in perfect harmony, vehicles flowing amidst the organized chaos, creating a symphony of movement.

It had been ten years since Inarius left home. After that fateful night, he embarked on a journey that took him across the world, immersing himself in various places and cultures, eventually finding his way to Dubai.

Lost in his thoughts, Inarius couldn't help but ponder what lay beyond Earth, what the universe held for him. He knew that at some point, he would have to depart this planet. However, he found himself stuck in the first transformation of the tier one Beyonder, unsure of how to advance through the ranks properly. Frustration built within him as he cursed Seraphim'll, the seemingly useless alien who provided no guidance on aspects or absorbing cosmic power. He remained trapped in this transformation, unaware of how he even reached this level. All he knew was that he instinctively recognized being in the third transformation, akin to sensing pain or discomfort in one's body without comprehending the reason behind it.

The lack of understanding about the power cosmic and its utilization added to Inarius' frustration. Over the past ten years, he had developed numerous theories, yet he still couldn't tap into that cosmic power. As for his eye aspect, despite ten years of practice, he could only employ it for a few breaths before experiencing severe strain on his brain. Focusing his mind on his aspect, Inarius entered his aspect soul space. A translucent version of himself materialized before a massive cube, emitting a mesmerizing, mysterious glow. Each time he beheld this cube, Inarius found himself filled with astonishment. It was mind-boggling that such a thing resided within his own mind—a remarkable discovery for a human, or rather, an ex-human.

In that moment, a wild idea sparked in Inarius' mind. He marveled at his oversight, wondering why he hadn't considered it before. With a resolute decision, Gabriel approached the cube in his translucent form and reached out to touch it. However, unlike previous attempts, he felt nothing. Nevertheless, he remained surprised at how his translucent form could interact with an object within his own mind. But then again, this was his mind, and within it, anything was possible—everything existed according to his will and thoughts. Filled with this newfound realization, Inarius willed himself to enter the cube, a concept he had never entertained before. Previously, he would sit in meditation for hours, achieving no tangible results.

As his translucent form ventured into the aspect cube, a mysterious state engulfed his mind—a sensation of connection without the ability to physically touch it. It resembled the existence of air, intangible but palpable, a feeling only to be experienced. Inarius attempted to comprehend this sensation when suddenly, he felt a pull—a tremor resonated through his mind, body, and soul. His aspect quivered slightly, and at that precise moment, the voice of AURORA resonated in his mind, accompanied by a beeping sound.

[... UNKNOWN ENERGY DETECTED]

[SOURCE UNKNOWN]

[ENERGY IS TRYING TO FORCE ITS WAY INTO YOUR BODY]

[IMPLEMENTING COUNTERMEASURES]

"Aurora, channel the

energy into my aspect cube," Inarius commanded. He and Aurora were one and yet separate entities. While he could direct Aurora to perform specific actions within his body—such as ceasing his heartbeat or inducing sleep—Aurora could never take control.

[... AFFIRMATIVE]

As the energy surged into his body through his veins, it made its way into his aspect soul space. Excitement coursed through Inarius as his aspect cube started rotating with intensity, greedily absorbing the energy. The nebula within the cube began to spin and shrink. At this point, Inarius lost all track of time, consumed by the profound experience unfolding before him.
