Flash after flash after flash.
Yuichi stayed in his hospital despite his roommate telling him about the press at his front door. He had multiple bandages. He had a bandage eyepatch on his right eye and a cast on his left arm, as well as, a metal bridge on his nose.
After the incident, which was named the White Mana Incident, Uriel, the angel, told the three to not do anything about Alpha being Kazuya Shiba.
'Why didn't you do anything?!'
Yuichi had yelled at Uriel at the time.
Uriel merely facepalmed and replied.
'You don't get it, do you?'
After that Ms Kin warned to not to fight with an archangel and the conversation ended there. No one had mentioned anything about Kazuya to the press. But, of course, his sudden disappearance will cause suspicion, so Uriel decided to tell Principal Chigiri and she would do her best to hide it.
"Why..."
Yuichi muttered.
He then thought of Kazuya's sadistic smiling face with his white hair and mismatched eyes. It enraged him.
"That bastard... I swear I'll—"
"What a scary face you're making."
Someone said.
He looked at the door. Two people approached him. They both wore a uniform which resembles a nun outfit.
"Ah, you two were..."
"Right, we're with the Divine Church. We came to get your answer but we saw all the press. As we were leaving, a nurse showed us the way."
It was Aisaka and Ruby.
Yuichi was about to open his mouth but then he close it before saying,
"That's a lie."
Aisaka was shocked.
"W-what do you mean—"
"You came because the press was here because I would be in a state of disdain. Nice idea. However, that period has long passed."
Aisaka did not understand. This type of thinking belonged to the boy who was with Yuichi at that time.
(I don't even know his name...)
Yuichi understood the Kazuya that he befriended. He understood his line of thinking and how he would think in a pressured situation. Of course, he could not pick up on emotions but logical situations were easier enough.
"So, Yuichi, your answer?"
She asked.
"If I join the Divine Church, will I be able to kill Alpha?"
"If you get a high rank, you'll get assigned missions like that. With your potential and power, you'd make the rank of Saint easily. That's saying something from someone who's been in the Church for 5 years and still hasn't made that rank."
Yuichi seemed to be deep in thought.
"If I'm being honest, you could become the Pope in your prime."
"I'll do it."
He replied without hesitation.
"Alpha... That monster... That thing... Killed my best friend."
Yuichi talked in a low tone. His voice seemed to shift into a growl.
Veins showed on his face as his expression hardened. Pure rage was visible.
"I will kill Alpha. I will do it. Alpha will die."
"That's a scary expression you're making..."
Aisaka smiled despite her words.
(He's perfect. The revenge-driven person that we don't have in the Church. Those blind believers are useless. They can't make a change. However... This kid! He's the one!)
"Well, then,"
Aisaka took a card out of her pocket and gave it to him. He took it with his right arm.
"A business card."
"More like an invitation. Show it to your principal once you've healed. We'll take you and train you straight away."
He nodded.
"We'll be off now. We've accomplished our goal now."
Aisaka and Ruby turned to the goal.
"Say, Ruby-san,"
Yuichi talked to Ruby, who turned with a blank expression.
"Has that prophecy changed?"
"No..."
"I see."
The boy looked out of the window with a sour expression. It began pouring and the paparazzi slowly scattered.
"I can't... stop my tears..."

"That boy... He's..."
Morisa clenched his fist after hearing Isla's words. Rika grimaced while taking a peek at the remaining reporters outside.
"I knew he was some sort of suspicious guy. Who would've thought he was Alpha, though?"
"So, the prophecy was..."
"I thought I told you not to tell anyone."
The door of the infirmary opened and Uriel stood at the entrance.
"Who are you?"
Aran asked, on guard.
Morisa and Rika were also on edge. They did not hear the door open or the teacher's footsteps. Moreover, her aura was concealed.
"Ms Yumi!"
Isla shouted from the bed.
"It's a shame that you all do not recognise me. I guess this form is misleading. Not that I can change it now."
Uriel said to herself.
"What? Aren't you just a teacher?"
Rika asked, annoyed by Uriel's conceited attitude.
[Do you not recognise your benefactor?]
Uriel used her Authority, shaking everyone in the room. They all felt a rattling sensation within their bones and core.
Isla began coughing blood as she held her chest.
"Isla!"
Morisa ran over to her.
"Ah, that's troublesome."
Uriel walked over to Isla.
"Move."
She pushed Morisa out of the way and laid out her hand over Isla.
"Flames of Salvation."
Flames engulfed Isla's body and burned away at her injuries. The injuries disappeared, leaving Isla with clean, smooth skin.
Isla stared in awe at her body.
"Uriel..."
Morisa muttered.
"I do not want any of you to identify Alpha."
Uriel told everyone in the room.
"I've told the same to the teacher and that interesting boy."
"But, if Alpha goes on a rampage then—"
"Who is your superior?"
Uriel asked Morisa, who was unusually expressive. She wanted to catch Alpha as fast as possible.
"It's Siesta Sasaki."
"If the truth about Alpha comes to light, then she'll be under questioning and it would be difficult for your team to move around."
No one opened their mouths. Not because Uriel was talking. Because they had nothing to refute. Morisa bitterly kept her mouth shut.
"Though, it may not matter..."
She said to herself.
"For any matter, Isla, you will join the Ironhide Squad and train yourself. You will be needed."
"I have a question."
Isla said to Uriel.
"Ask."
"If I join, will I be able to meet Kazuya again?"
"..."
Uriel silently stared at her. She still had not understood why she was still referring to him by his name.
"Yes. This team is highly likely to go onto an Alpha hunt mission."
"Then, I'll join. Because... I want to ask him why... Why did he do it? I don't want to hate him before knowing the truth."
The archangel smirked.
(The boy wants to kill his friend while the girl wants to ascertain the truth. Two different people, one target, two methods. Seeing how it plays out will be fun for Father and the others.)
