Chapter 12 - The Scheming Bitch

Alice's expression was pained as

She approached Jenna step by step.

"Jenna.."

As Jenna stood there, she was aware and could see someone approaching her.

Besides Alice, she was aware that no one would approach her.

She nonchalantly cast a sidelong glance and

observed Alice's friendly face. That appeared so pitiful.

Jenna saw Alice approaching and had already withdrawn her chilly smirk. She was acting.

"Did you attend the dinner on purpose? Why? Did you want to approach him? Did you want to see Rex? You are divorced, so why are you clinging on? If I were you, I would run away from him. Don't come seeking trouble."

Jenna gave Alice a critical look and an arrogant look.

"Alice Florence, everybody recognizes you as the mistress. Did you have a good time recently?"

Since this controversy gained notoriety, internet users have researched Alice Florence, who was regularly spotted around Rex Hidalgo.

Rex had already removed those posts, but Alice was now known as "the homewrecker" and received contempt from so many that Alice could count them all and not getting enough rest for a while.

"Jenna, a title doesn't matter as much as we have feelings for one another. Unlike you, we will be united one day."

Alice snorted harshly out of envy and examined Jenna closely.

"Did you keep the proceeds from the sales of your blood to pay for this banquet's invitation? Without an invitation, how would you enter such a location? The attire and you're also sporting jewelry are rented, correct?"

Alice took a step forward. Her eyes

flickered a little as she walked to the swimming pool with a sly grin.

"You're only asking for it, Jenna."

That's when Alice suddenly

leaned back and slid into the

pool. As soon as there was a splash, it drew the crowd's interest, and the audience shouted.

Jenna regarded this situation with a dark, uncaring eye. She suddenly remembered the banquet when she married him two years prior and recently tied the knot with Rex. This precise circumstance also occurred.

[I won't congratulate you on anything, Jenna. Rex isn't in your marriage, after all. If it weren't for the fact that you can give me blood, Rex wouldn't have married you. You will never be happy together. If you don't believe me, watch..]

Alice dove back into the pool. Then, Rex went in without hesitation or a second thought.

To convince Jenna that Rex cherished her. At that time, Jenna hoped that her genuineness would be accepted.

Rex during that day, but she had failed miserably.

Alice jumped into the pool and fought in the water again.

A man sped past without requirements, and Jenna knew it had to be Rex. He rushed to bring Alice away from the pool.

"Don't blame Jenna, Rex. I came to help. She didn't accept my apology. I know she still despises me, yet. It was different from what she intended."

Alice appeared so resentful as she

drew closer to the man's arms and

she held back her tears. The spectators pity Alice while glancing at Jenna dubiously.

Gino scowled when he saw this scenario and heard the crowd. He was prevented from intervening by Jenna. She spoke a few things in his ear instead. Gino then departed.

Rex hugged Alice, who was wet and

put his jacket on top of her. His deep frigid eyes target Jenna.

Jenna looked at him without avoidance.

"She has long since utilized this method. Have you fallen for it yet again?"

Rex's trust didn't matter to Jenna, even if He believed what Alice said. She placed a hair behind her ear, as well as smirked. "It makes no difference. Acting flimsies are so poor without any progress. I'll comply and disregard it for years."

'Why must I comply with this?' With her? It will simply reduce my IQ!'

Jenna was going to make a U-turn and depart. But as soon as Alice got up and stepped out of Rex's grasp and pulled the arm of Jenna. Alice declined to consent and squander this fantastic chance as she wept and recited her name.

"I understand that you dislike me, Jenna. However, each time you gave blood, Rex paid you for it; what else are you doing? Why are you still not satisfied? After the divorce, Rex was bothered by you. Why would you want to disparage us? It is feasible to attend this celebration just because you won't let go of him. Right?"
